I've never had an issue when old players come back, score and give the fans some back.

We are down right disrespectful to some old players, who've done their best and for one of another reason it didn't work out.

 

There are some who get stick every time they play against us, their goal scoring record shows they consistently stick the ball in the back of our net, yet our fans persistently encouraging them by giving them stick or abuse in some cases,Billy Sharpe, Keith Edwards, Kevin Derek Francis to mention a few.
I'm sure there are many more feel free to post their names.

some moron threw a coin at Billy sharp, He just bent down picked it up and tucked it in his sock, Admired the ever since that

Indeed fans cant have it both ways.
There's been some great banter with players over the years, Kevin Ellison comes immediately to mind.
On a personal note, why I mentioned Carlisle, is I was sat watching a load of crap, when a couple of their players came over to where I sat, dishing out stick.
I didn't even know at the time they were crap that we'd previously had at the club.
So I took it personal, they dished it out and I was hoping to give it back haha
However, now just giving them a good beating will be my only revenge. haha

 

How could I miss big Kev.

 

I could understand Gibson giving it large because he scored at 'our' end, but Patrick had to run the length of the field to give the City fans stick.
Just celebrate with your own fans you prat.

 

Cook must have been getting stick from a Sutton fan he certainly enjoyed his moment.
Ha ha ha love it even pointing his name out on the back of his shirt.

 

I hope it's nice and noisy on Saturday, and we give our ex-players a taste of what it's like when we're NOT feeling as toxic as we were at Carlisle.

Hopefully we perform.

 

Besides the ex City players I see they've got Pizza man in their squad.

 

Kristian Dennis we were trying to sign him a few years ago deadline day/night but were awaiting Chesterfield getting a replacement so while they we were waiting the club sent out fof pizza's if the story is true or not.

 

I don't know if I have an impairment but whenever I hear his name, I always think of..

Over 17000 sold for this game, as of Friday morning , according to the clubs twitter.
Actual crowd will depend on how many season ticket holders attend, although all will be counted.

 

I think it will be a good crowd again, even though there is nothing to play for many will attend to show their resects rather than attend the memorial service outside the town hall which is midweek, 1700 is a good turn out for Carlisle.

 

17000 for a “meaningless” end of season game is astonishing at this level.
Of course, this is not a meaningless game for us and I hope the Carlisle fans put on a show all football fans can be proud of. You know, just to show that football isn’t everything.
