    In my book, good defending and goalkeeping is not being lucky though.

    We clearly need a big clearout in the summer, however, it's pleasing to see Hughes and his coaching team improving the defence without having the benefit of a transfer window yet

    Defended well? It was only because of the sheer incompetence of Northampton and a good display from Bass that stopped us conceding 2 or 3.
    Not a criticism of Hughes, he just doesn't have the personnel capable of obeying his commands at the moment.

    It wasn't good defending, it was rank poor finishing. Don't kid yourself, we start next season with this back four.and we finish mid table at best.

    Despite the recent clean sheets, I'm realistic to know that along with the rest of the team, defence will need to be strengthened in the summer, and it will.

    Of course it was A point, but measured against them…. They are in the most overrated position I’ve seen any side in the division on that performance, DESPITE how poor we were.! Let’s have some honesty please.

    Can't think I've seen a genuinely good team this season, just that we've generally been worse. Even with this team (well tbf the team we finished with today) and MH in charge I reckon we would be at least in the playoffs. Northampton had endless chances in the first half but never looked certain to score. Just yet another not very good side.

    Over rated?they are there because of their results, in some peoples opinion when ever we play these teams they are always crap despite their points total saying otherwise
