    Vernam has definitely been one of the very few bright spots of this dismal season.
    Always looking to get on the front foot.
    A trait so many of his teammates lack unfortunately

    Shame he and Ridehalgh got injured. They seemed to play well together for a few games when we attacked but injuries really killed us.

    We were the better side in the last 20 mins. The subs helped us, because they brought a bit of pace and mobility into the side.

    Cooke frustrates and I think the break at the end, and the poor pass to Vernam probably shows why Hughes isn't starting him.

    Glass half full - lots of changes needed but if they're in the hunt for top 3, we can massively improve our chances with some smart recruitment in the summer.

    We were poor first half and only brighter in the second and much better when Cooke and Vernham came on. But they were DIRE!

    Northampton havre 'bored' all season, to such a degree that Joey Barton quipped that they were "a glorified rugby team".

    Yet, they've been in the Top 5 virtually all season.

    i.e. it's L2 - it largely is boring
