Putting my £1 on him as first goal scorer today.
Should be decent odds.

Feel like I'm the only one banging the drum but I'd love to see I'd try to develop him as a right back. If we could improve him and give him a proper run then his physical attributes could be huge asset in that position.

The remainder of this season would be perfect timing too. Zero to play for and our senior right back is just about the worst player at the club.

 

Good to see Ridehalgh on the bench once again.

 

Id go with that Dave, keep him on perhaps 12-18 month deal and see how he develops?

And whilst I like Sutton's never say die attitude - the rest of his game is moderate at best. People tend to lay into Watt but he's infinitely technically better than Sutton. Just because Sutton runs around a lot, doesn't mean he's a good footballer.

 

I think its more about giving others game time, we all know what Cooke brings to the side but as yet seen little of Walker or Pereira.

 

I think most would say Sutton has offered more than Delfounso though.

I struggle to see what impact he's had in any match he's played. Just another journeyman who needs to play at a lower level than he currently is.

 

I'm not sure how we're getting it better. Yes, Vernham starting would improve us - but they've already said they're nursing him back.

Who else are we choosing who are technically better with the ball? That's vital when playing a team like Rovers
