I don't remember Vale being anywhere near this dirty or shit house in game at their place.

We need to give it back. We're a bit too nice and not streetwise enough.

Its scrappy and we've been poor in possession. Nothing wrong with the effort, but we're lacking in quality on some areas. Delfounso doesn't look a midfielder at all.

 

Port Vale the better team because they are more mobile ( where have we heard this before.)

5 in the middle is swamping us.

Piriera , get him signed up, he’s got that low centre of gravity , Grealish type skills. I like him!

Not out of it by any means but they look dangerous.

 

Need Delfonso off imo I’d probably rather play Staunton there than him. Fairly even game, Vale just shading it. Both full backs need to look for the pass into midfield or down the line rather than going back and allowing Vale further up. It’s putting us under pressure.

 

Vernham will come on , with Walker perhaps. I reckon Charles could win this for us? They do look like they don’t like pace coming at them?

 

This is an enthralling game to watch! That half flew by.

 

Pereira has something. Bit lightweight though and I'm not convinced he's fit enough.

 

Get walker on for Delfouneso

 

Andy Cook is a grafter but he's not a footballing type of attacker which is what we need. He's had a few chances to score today and just can't put them away. I like the guy, but he needs binning at the end of the season for someone with more about them. They don't need to score 20 a season, but they need to link up with the midfield.

 

As a fan of Watt I know he can be frustrating but he does seem to be one of those players who's value is even greater when not there as he does try to pass it and make things happen.
I know it can look bad when it doesn't come off but Delfouneso is not an adequate replacement

 

Ah, lightweight. That pointless opinion people throw around when it comes to attacking players. Have you heard of Phil Foden?

 

He's not cut out for the lone striker role. He's neither quick nor strong
