    Was it Jones on commentary? Mentions the effort the Defence puts in and block after block. Anyway, a win away at top of league and a clean sheet to boot. Been a while coming.

    Great result. Scrappy game but that suited us after the deflected goal. These are supposedly the best team in the division yet we manage a result like that. Hopefully we can string a few more wins together. Good to see Walker get minutes. Pereira looked lively. Everyone played well. Bass did well with a lot of crosses late on.

    So pleased for Hughes and the players. They deserved much more last week against Swindon, so good character to go to the leaders, keep a clean sheet and score twice.

    Interesting that we didn't get the fabled immediate new manager bounce, and we've actually had to improve week-on-week to get the win - that's actually a better omen, IMHO, as it shows Hughes' coaching is making a real difference.

    Instantly hitting form says nothing for the manager's tactics, and more about the players... but as we know, there was a huge amount of work to do with this lot, and looks like Hughes is getting it done.

    Early days, but I'm impressed with the last two performances.
