I'm watching this game largely with a view to what it suggests for the longer term.

Again we've been better on the ball. The side clearly needs more quality, but there's clearly evidence of better coaching from Hughes than we saw from Adams.

 

Another derrick adams masterclass from City in the first half, managed a header on target in the 44th minute and a paltry 3 attempts.
But still in the game, somehow.

Is Hughes able to get a tune out of this squad

I think it is a joke Steve. Pereira is on loan from Luton, and has been seen until today as often as Lord Lucan.

 

As we should have been last week against Swindon ?, don't take your chances you don't win the game, no sympathy here mate.

 

Behave. Its a very limited squad, in his 3rd game, playing away to the league leaders and into a string wind.

We'll probably go down by a goal or two, but there's no quick fix here. Big squad changes needed.

This is the second time I've seen them this season and seen nothing to suggest how they have been turning teams over 4 - 0 on several occasions, having said that we have offered little up top, happy with a point from this game.

Good save from Bass, but the defence just crumbled. I don't see any way we keep a clean sheet here.
