Songo'o is a terrible footballer. He was almost as bad in midfield as he is at centre half.

Let's sign a proper CDM, someone who can pass, tackle AND get around the pitch. Someone in the Anthony Grant mould whose always been very effective against us.

True, remind me what did Swansea see in Ollie McBurnie at the same age?

I didn't say it was good, but that it's far better than ROD's, which is atrocious. If he was ever pressured on a simple kick it would end up in the stands

    Rubbish.

There's not really much to say about this. His kicking wasn't fantastic, but it certainly wasn't awful - did he ever miss the ball? Give away a goal by scuffing his clearance? In his three years, did he do that even once? As for always kicking into the stand, that's rubbish.

No it was awful. If I had a quid for every time it ended up in the stands I'd be able to meet Rupp's evaluation. Just because he got power behind his kick doesn't mean it was any good. It's a low bar to meet if all you expect from a professional keeper is to kick it with a bit of loft on it.

a lot of the problem was that our cf at the time (vaughan, doyle) didn't want the ball down the middle - they expected the keeper to play long towards the wing and pick up a flick on, reducing the margin for error

South Leeds, Huddersfield, Hull, a lot of Liverpool, most of south Manchester, Most of NE Manchester. Bradford isn't the shitehole some people make it out to be. If you don't like it, go live elsewhere. Hell, I lived in leafy Bedford for two years as a child and going back to visit family I see what a shitehole parts of that place are now.

The biggest problem with Bradford is litter and fly tipping. If you think we have a dirty City Centre, take a stroll around Manchester. What Bradford needs is a council that takes pride in it's environment and a lot of ills will be cured.

Yes from the Sun. I was also left wondering how he could be called that, with 1 in 11. Obviously his agent is trying to push the price up.

He's certainly no Romain Vincelot for sure. No tears here if he gets released in the summer.

I just don't agree it went out an alarming amount.

I haven't seen that, and I've sat through far too many dross games of football.

Remember, League Two: how many really good keepers have we seen this season, and how many have we seen that are exactly as you describe?

    Nearly all of them.

All these keepers are vaguely of the same quality, but I'd guess that O'Donnell's numbers are slightly better than Hornby's and Bass's in terms of the crucial games:goals conceded stat. That's because he's the better goalkeeper out of the three.

Pray for Derek Adams to swoop, because the lad's contracted for next season...

One massive refreshing point from Saturday was the positivity from Hughes and absolutely no mention of Bass' mistake at the end costing us the game. If that were Deluded Dez, he would have been thrown under the bus axle and been reversed back over for good measure.

I like Marks calm manner and support for the player's in public. Calling them useless two hats to the press , won't make them play any better. Probably the opposite.
Also i have really enjoyed the last two games, if not the results. In one week Sparky has managed to put a bit of glitter on this turd of a squad , a little more time and Vernham, Walker , Angol back in the fray will make a big difference in my opinion. We could well have won the last two with the above mentioned playing.

Woa , Woa, I didn’t write the comments about Bradford, I’m referring to a footballer who did exactly that , which WATT “ liked” . You need to read the thread again and then come back and apologise, including those that also read your comment and “ liked” your ridiculous response. That’s what happens when one doesn’t read the lead up context of a reply.

For the record I did go “ elsewhere” .

Too lengthy for my attention span. It won’t change my opinion on him however. He’s a risk and we can do better.

Sadly Andy, I would be surprised if we saw Angol again?

Could we surgically put all three keepers into one, all have good and bad points and having six arms and legs could be useful . Still not a full brain between them though.

Get him fit for the last 5 games, he can then pull his hamstring and have the summer to recover. Is he contracted for next year, did he not only get a 12 month deal.
