One of the reasons for our slump was injuries and Sattelmaier. How many goals did we ship in with him in goal. Away at Wimbledon two soft goals it was like giving the other team a goal start

I remember at Rotherham playing with six midfielders Guy and Robinson right and left back.

Grayson has almost a full squad to choose from.

Come on, one game where the whole team were in the pleasure park!!! What about the first half of last season when, please correct me status, we were one of the best defensive units in the country.

Sorry mate, Grayson doesn’t play attacking football and never will. He sets up not to concede and then hopefully nick a goal. Check out when the opposition gets a corner, no one up top. I’m not blaming the man but he’s not going to make my Saturday enjoyable or take us forward. I will put £50 to the burns unit that says no championship team will take him in the next 5 years, his time and style is done.

He would certainly be a far cheaper option.

After the Fleetwood game this was the table with similar players Grayson has had at his disposal.

    Team P W D L GD Pts
    1 Wigan 25 17 5 3 38 56
    2 Shrewsbury 25 16 6 3 18 54
    3 Blackburn 25 14 7 4 22 49
    4 Scunthorpe 26 14 7 5 15 49
    5 Bradford 26 15 3 8 8 48
    6 Portsmouth 26 13 2 11 3 41
    7 Rotherham 26 12 4 10 9 40

An 8 point gap between us and 7th place Rotherham, an over achieving squad certainly but hardly shit.

    Totally different ball game.

    Totally different times.

The way how you're defending Grayson who's results for us have been embarrassing is highly surprising mate. I am shocked.

Managers get judged on results not excuses.

The season doesn't finish after 26 games. During Barnsleys promotion season they must have been midtable after 26 games, it doesn't mean they were a mid table team. They were one of the strongest sides in the division. Its the same concept with us only the other way round. players who aren't good enough don't have it in them to perform consistently over the course of the season and that's proving to be the case.

And he'll deny it to the bitter end, it's a collective thing, we debate the named players and we come to a decision, the final one being Edin's.

    Have to disagree,

If a season started and ended without injurys or suspensions then your philosophy is valid. Unfortunately injurys and suspensions do happen and that is when backup is required. We needed back up in January desperately. But one man knew better. His knowledge of football was to compare with a poker game. We had no back up keeper in all honesty it was pretty evident. We also had not fit left back and after Fleetwood no fit right back. The slump begun.

This was despite one Chairman claiming we would be going for auto before season begun and the other saying the same thing at the start of the winter transfer window. 2018

These two deluded fools thought we were under performing despite having a budget nearer mid table than top six.

THE TRUTH is Edin wanted McCall out as early as a few days after Wembley Play offs, and never gave him the tools required to maintain the form he took into the transfer window.

My opinion on Grayson basically boils down to my opinion on the players. They aren't good enough, we have probably one good player in the entire squad and the rest are bench warmers. I think it's unfair to expect good results with such an average group of players. Crap players produce crap results. If he gets backed, brings in his own players and then doesn't produce results, then he will rightly receive some flack

Your missing the point, which is they were the same players Stuart had who performed so well up till the New Year, so they must have been shit under him but the league table says different.

Utter rubbish, you cannot "coach" a team to overachieve, which by all accouts is what we were doing up until Yeovil, you can only "manage" that!

West Brom are not good enough
    Charlton not good enough
    Fleetwood not good good enough

The managers that have come in have managed to get a fine tune out of the players.

Grayson at City hasn't and is just a let down.

as mentioned, previous season one of the best defensive sides in the division, a full season at home without defeat. but, we let go the best defenders recruit poor playerscv and what happens?

Today we got some luck, keeper spilled a cross and we scored up until that very poor, one half chins from Law. tactics very poor today. if out manager Simon 'Championship' Grayson chooses to leave can't say I will be disappointed.

TBF at the fans forum Edin confirmed that development squad players were signed without Stuart's knowledge.

His argument was it was a separate squad and not in Stuart's remit. I think Collins is the development squad coach.

We brought in guy who has been our best player since he arrived we brought in McGowan who looked like he was going to be a key player for us and Warnock and Lund who are also good players. Yes we missed out in the end on an experienced forward but it’s not true that we didn’t strengthen in January. It’s the players already here that started not bothering
