I thought the few games that Hendrie has played so far for us he would be in my top 3 players each game.

 

One team on a great run and one on a very poor one and the match stats showed very little between them.
Mansfield had more belief and harried our players all game.
Ridealgh, Walker, Vernham, Angol , in that team make a big difference for me.
Robinson , Daly, should both be sent back if you can , both offered nothing, Lavery and Evans did more in their brief stints. Faulds had a nightmare and Songo is no centre half.
We lacked any cohesion up front and once again individual defensive mistakes were punished.
They are league 2 footballers and will make mistakes , but everytime we do it we concede and that is a good starting point for Mr Hughes to work on this week.

 

I missed some news I think. RS is saying that Hughes's application was in his junk mail? Really can't believe that, unless he's still using yahoo mail or msn. Did he expect everyone who applies to be already in his contact list? For recruitment purposes, surely there's a dedicated email set up on the job ad. Was there even a job ad (in this day and age, I think there has to be). This "junk mail" thing, just strikes me as a bit of a spin from Ryan, to make the whole application story fated, and likeable, bumbling and lucky. IF so...fair play to the man...he's a good spin doctor (Two Princes, Pocket Full of Kryptonite 1993 for those who remember).

 

Yeah signing a injury prone forward as one of our maIn striking hopes without a decent back up was a masterstroke by the club.

 

He's started 6 games and we've lost 5. Being in the top 3 doesn't mean much.

 

We're a poor side I cant see many saying otherwise, but of that poor side IMO Hendrie has been one of our better performers.

Hendrie is head and shoulders above Threckeld, but that is not saying much, i think i am better than him and i am fast approaching 60. Hendrie has been steady enough and better than most defensively, considering he has come into a team totally out of form and defending like school kids.

 

Adams commented he thought it was a risk worth taking as he is a quality player when fit, the clue is in the word risk, unfortunately in our case it didn't pay off, my point remains not many bellyaching at the start of the season when they were a good pairing.

 

Yer, apparently there was some problem with his email and it was messing up all his emails coming in and Hughes' son (his agent) sent an initial email and it went to Ryan's junk folder.

 

Why doesn't that surprise me.

I thought there would be some noise from our fans today with MH coming in but there was very little in terms of support from the stands compared to Mansfield.
I'm sure people will say 'what's there to shout about?' But I was hoping for something. We have to do better ourselves. It might as well have been a home game for the stags.
Yes we can't create decent chances and yes they have mistakes in them, but if we 14000 home supporters get outsung for the entire afternoon by 2000 even having a new manager of MH's calibre then perhaps it's not all everyone else's fault

We need the injured players back that’s for sure no team can carry the amount we have having said that central defence is a worry. The plus points Hendrie played well again and the deeper role for Gillead seems to suit he was our best player today. Cook was dreadful

 

Not truth at all its your opinion, to say you've not purchased a season ticket this season because you can't be arsed you certainly have plenty to say with regards Bradford City, which suggests you do really care or your on a wind up, which is it.

 

Just goes to show fans differ on their opinions, listen to Mark Hughes post match comment and he points out what great support he and his team got, something he'd missed whilst out of the game.
