I posted before the game that I worry any 'momentum' generated through Hughes appointment will die quickly because of the quality of side hes got and an inability to do anything about it for 4 months. That defence is the worst we've ever had. Genuinely. I'd challenge anyone to name a worse back 4 that we've ever fielded in a league game.

 

Nowt in the game they have a lad who can finish we don't but not over by any means.

 

I must be watching a different game. We've had endeavour, but zero quality and we've looked ropey at the back. Only a matter of time until they scored, and now they have, we're done. This will end up 3 or 4 nil to them.

Id agree Dave. They are nothing special tbh. One extremely tidy piece of centre forward play. It took me by surprise and very clever. Two centre back are a slow, poor liability. Twice Paudie has given the ball away and Songo isn’t a makeshift centre back. His legs have gone !

 

I think the out of contract defenders will be getting checked out. What are Pallister and Bruce up to these days?

 

Let's see. We haven't been mullered, though we didn't get a kick for the first 15 mins. But I see a difference between the teams, they have another level or two, and our back will gift them at least one more.
