    I think you missed a bit. The article says the spectator was ejected from VP. We certainly had a few players simply watching the ball but I didn't see a player being escorted out of the ground! ;)

    I guess the club means they've suspended his membership pending the police enquiries.

    Yes, I saw that, I just thought suspended was a strange term. I fully expect that he/she will be “suspended “ pending the outcome of the police investigation and a further course of action taken at that point.

    If they have been ejected I take it as a steward has actually witnessed the incident so whoever it was won’t be getting to see another game .
