    Let us know what it is like @zico@zico, wouldn't mind going there.

    Bit 50/50 about zoos. Went to the Welsh Mountain Zoo earlier this year. Some of the animals had great spaces, but the chimpanzees looked so depressed. Really sad.

    I know what you mean. There's a couple of wildlife parks around here. They do seem to care about the animals at least.

    It is a hard one.

    I know that there is a lot of conservation work going on, and some of the stuff is legacy that won't be repeated. It is amazing to see some of the animals, but watching some kids last summer running up and down while a cheetah was clearly tormented by it was awful.

    BTW, just started reading Other Minds, about the Octopus. Fascinating.
