I think the point some people are making is that these Ambassadors do have the chance to speak directly to Edin but for some reason rather than doing what you are suggesting have tried to stir up trouble by sponsoring the game with a name that they knew would cause trouble. That isn’t trying to sort it out.

I don't think it is. How would you feel if a colleague of yours went public and basically said you're unable to do your job? There's ways and means and posting like that isn't it.

We're getting into semantics here but he didn't say they were "self styled" in that post.

Whatever the reasoning behind the name they've still embraced it and run with it. His question therefore still stands. Whether it's a relevant question or not is a different point.

Exactly. It isn't even like they're coming out and saying Edin has lost us the opportunity of this player by doing x or that he's lost us this high value sponsor by doing y. Important stuff.

Its literally "Bronco, Bronco, tell the guys on Bamtams Talk that nasty Edin won't let me sponsor a match at Guiseley with the name I want"

Nothing to do with the running of the club. We used to call it telling tales when I was at primary school.

We’d sit down in my office, have a chat about it and decide he was wrong.

If you go out and get fecking badges made with the words Naughty Boys on them, then it’s self styled....And embarrassing.

Kim Jong Un wouldn't like it for sure but in this country you'll find that we're a little more light hearted as not to worry about things like this.......please don't be embarrassed, be brave....

It sounds like an old boys club getting pissed off because they don’t have the influence they thought had. Boo fecking hoo!...They should go join a golf club.

Why would they do that when all that is released by the club.

Look in a dictionary for the definition of Ambassador!

Exactly Silverbantam, just the reason the BCFC Boardroom has won so many awards and as my previous posts, why the Naughty Boys (so called by others and not self styled) are so well known in the Leagues we have inhabited over the years of the awards and are an integral part of the Boardroom success. Thanks for drawing the definition to our attention.

Yes but these people are primarily supporters who pay for the privilege of helping the club. I fully disagree what they have done here but I believe they have as much right as anybody else of expressing their point of view

If they had expressed their views publicly, I for one would sort of respect that. But 'they' haven't had the balls to express their own point of views, have they? They have provided the words for a regular poster on here to post their version of events and for him to initially pretend they words were just something he'd heard. (That was quickly spotted!) No, if they really believed there is something rotten in the state of Denmark, they should have the courage of their convictions and do something about it and not use a proxy for their dirty work. They pay to be in a privileged position and are content to enjoy those privileges and the kudos which attaches to them while firing their own bullets from behind a parapet. They are just demonstrating what little regard they have for the club and how it's really about getting some kind of revenge for having had their noses put out of joint.

Don't really agree. The more you're in 'the public eye', the more you have to be able to control your mouth.
Thats the price you have to pay to climb the greasy pole.
I'm sure when he was still employed by Morrisons, he wouldn't have publicly slated the Morrisons board even if he had private disagreements.
