The buck should stop with Ryan and I'm afraid I've lost patience with him now. He's over promised and under delivered. He is responsible for the managerial appointments and sackings and frankly it's been a shit show.

It's all well and good sacking managers every 6 months or so but it screams weakness to me. He either knew what he was getting with Adams and should have stuck to his guns or he had no idea what he was getting with him and it was a very poor appointment. Adams is the same man now as when he appointed him. Either way he got it wrong.

I wouldn't doubt his commitment or his abilities commercially but when it comes to football he's doing the same thing Rahic did only he's meddling on a managerial level rather than playing staff.

Yes but it is a different set up these days. Plus it would help to relieve the pressure on Sparks. He could concentrate on generating income for the club the commercial side of the game. We don’t have an identity atm, apart from sacking managers. We need continuity.

Sparks is hanging onto his job by a thread. This is not the right time for him to worry about a minority of the fanbase who would object to hiring Steve Evans as the manager.
If he appoints Evans and it backfires on the pitch he’ll lose his job.
If he gives Truman the job and we slip further down the table, he’ll lose his job.
If he gives someone else the job and we don’t get promotion next season, he’ll lose his job.
The ONLY thing that saves his job is results ON THE PITCH.
If I was him I wouldn’t give a shiny shite about fans with high morals. The only thing I’d care about is results

Exactly. If he wants to buy a ticket and watch then great.

Tbh, if I was him and I'd applied I would go and watch to see first hand the group of players. Nowt wrong with that.

Him being there doesn't mean anything other than he's interested for me.

I agree a football director would be a good idea reporting to Sparks as presumably happens in the other
Departments. But it’s no panacea and can also lead to problems if personalities clash. For me first team coach or manager is a priority and it’s important we get it right so no rushed appointments please

All about opinion's Kevin, But just like our transfer policy for players, we appear now to be in the same sh!tpool searching for a manager.
The club really is at rock bottom, I just hope whomever takes over wins some games.
I really don't care how , just win some games.
    Give us all some hope.

If your opinion is for footballing reasons then fair enough.
Out of interest though, who do you think we should appoint?

And when season sales fall drastically by recruiting Evans…then what?.
As a result the sustainable budget reduces then what?
Forget morals what has Evans done , footballing wise recently and results don’t magically improve like some seem to think..Then what?

Have a go at answering the three questions ?

Depends who applies of course but let’s assume McCann applies then him or Richie Wellens, both young coaches with experience.

Evans is a football dinosaur akin to Warnock, Adams ( as it turned out), Hodgson, Jems, Hopkins, Taylor, Bowyer etc.

Sadly I dislike Evans intensely and he’s a football has-been punting for a job. It will end in tears.

Think the season ticket sales will fall drastically just about who ever is appointed. The club has lost a lot of goodwill from the fans in the last 18 months imo. They'll always have 7-8k hardcore, but they've in the last few years budgeted on another 5-6k but Reckon that'll tail of massively.
Sparks giving it large that we're going for promotion and we dont accept mediocrity ,if you don't back it up, Those sound bites fall on a lot of deaf ears.
