True when it comes to helicopter seats I’d never take the piss and mock how he earned his fortune, that’s the point I’m making people on low income turning their noses up at how people have made millions.

I certainly don’t think Rupp has made millions off football, in fact he’s no doubt slightly poorer for it.

    No doubt.

His profit & loss in football accurately represents his ability in the industry.

A desperate attempt at some spin. Matt Smith is shite. Face facts, you were creaming over him for some bizarre reason when we told you he was shite.

He wont be sending Salford to where they want to be.

I don’t know much about NFTs but I follow David Ball our former loanee on Instagram and he now has one, I believe his club in New Zealand are getting into it. A number of sporting teams are I believe so it’s hardly an alien market.

Anyway it didn’t happen, our proud custodian saved us from the evil buyers who’s soul purpose for existing was to destroy Bradford City football club showed his commitment with a lavish January transfer window. Now we have beaten the mighty Stevenage all you hysterical keyboard warriors need to be quiet and clap or you’ll effect the club and it’ll be all your faults when we slowly drift to non league. If not the fans then it’ll be the 10 managers fault clearly working against the proud custodian to make him look bad as he’s clearly faultless.

Not quite the worst apart from Scunthorpe. In terms of league (pyramid) positions fallen since the end of the 15/16 season to the end of last season. With apologies for any errors

    Walsall -40
    Scunthorpe -39
    Chesterfield. -36
    Bradford City -34
    Southend. -33
    York -32
    Barnet. -31
    Sunderland -31
    Bolton -27
    Ipswich -26
    Oldham -25

Some are in non league now, Oldham and Scunthorpe look like joining them and Chesterfield look like coming back up.

What strikes me is several have owners who have pumped money in, and by my reckoning five of those 11, Chesterfield, Sunderland, Bolton, Ipswich and Walsall have new owners which has largely stopped their slide, all are in the top half of their tables, except the Saddlers. Other clubs have had interesting owners, Oldham, Southend, Chesterfield’s previous owners have been or are less than popular.

So for a proud custodian Stefan has us up there with the worst clubs in the country in his tenure. Whether it be better or worse without him if he’d sold up in the last couple of years who knows? Three of the four clubs relegated are nowhere near a return to the FL, in fact next season one of them will be in the NLN and Barnet would have been had last season not been abandoned.

By my reckoning 10 of the 23 NL clubs are ex FL, excluding Halifax, and there are six relatively recent ex FL clubs in the NLN.

My point is if this last few season’s malaise isn’t turned around, and Stefan takes us in to the NL, it’s going to take a lot more effort and money to get out of that division than it will League Two. For that reason Rupp and Sparks need to turn it around, something I think better done with a new owner as Chesterfield and Bolton are perhaps showing.

Those stats certainly don't make for comfortable reading it must be said. I would be interested to know the state of our decline just under Rupp's ownership and not during his joint ownership with Rahic. Uninspiring but stable I would suspect?

I think it is only fair to judge the current sole ownership and its management structure as opposed to lumping them into the period where a mad man took control for 2 seasons - and it should include off field changes as well, an area which has improved I would wager.

I've said it before. Rupp is clearly not the long-term answer for our club. He is however a suitable custodian for the immediate term until such time as he finds a more ambitious and football focused owner. He's clearly willing to sell but until then Rupp provides us with a stable foundation and that is no bad thing.

The only thing I plan to boycott is the New Beehive, and that's only because my beer snob friend has started crying in his beer (again) due to the head being 1/8th inch less than he wants. Lord Clyde it is then.

I love the way you get your priorities in the right order General. I am afraid I am working tomorrow, Sunday and Monday dayshift and I am running out of holidays. So it's a few beers this afternoon for me, Lord Clyde, Jacobs Well, then the Corn Dolly.
I will follow the game on my phone tomorrow (should the pressure of work allow of course).

Its a big game tomorrow , get behind the team and lets cheer them to victory.
Leave the boycotts and fly over until the season is dead, we need to all be pulling in the same direction for this one.
Lose and the season is probably over.
Support the team, if not the owner or the manager.

After supporting City through thick and thin from the 1950's I could never boycott the club. I shall continue to listen to commentaries on I -Follow and watch when they are able online. We are next down in Yorkshire at the beginning of March and I've already bought my ticket for the Swindon match.
