Yes I’ve put it on the Rupp out thread, it’s a small thing but a start. Hopefully chats will come next and banners.

    General thoughts on tonight’s game;

Foulds did very well - accomplished performance. Threlkeld, to be fair, had a solid game. Prob best I’ve seen from him since he joined.

songoo is a solid stopper and although his distribution isn’t fantastic, he’s a strong presence at cb.

Robinson and Gillead made an impact off bench. Watt had a fair game.

Daly was ineffective and looks like he could be dropped when Delfi comes in. Walker looked a threat at times.

we’ve said it for weeks now but the set up is just all wrong. It’s too narrow. We looked a better team late on but was that just because we had to chase the game? Why aren’t we taking games to teams like that from the off.

to not have a shot in goal until 15 mins are left against such a bad side makes terrible reading

That bit had a big whiff of the hopkin party piece in interviews 'teams will be tired for the next match after they play us'

Agree on most of this baring a few points. Firstly I think we play better (this will come as no surprise) when we have at least one out an out winger on the pitch. Walker an Daly tend to link up very well but they like to operate in the centre. Now if you add Cooke to the mix you end up with a very narrow attacking outlet. Walker with Daly on one side an vernam, or Del, should level things out.

Ive given Threlkeld a fair bit of stick this season but il give credit where its due. Today was probably his best performance for us. I can see Adams in the future playing him in the middle to protect the defence, however I don’t want to see him at RB again because he’s not what you need in that position, i.e. his crossing isn’t great an he can’t take on a man

I agree on the point about Songo’o being a good stopper. He knows where to position himself when balls come into the box, But I was less than impressed with his performance at CB. He spent the entire game getting bullied by Orient’s No.9 (Looks like a very decent target man for this division imo). Most of the game he couldn’t lay a finger on him. Paudie had better luck. The biggest concern with Songo’o though is his clearances are atrocious. Its almost as if every time he clears the ball, he’s connecting to it with his shin. 9/10 of his clearances went wide or high up in the sky. He also can’t hoof effectively, the ball was just going to the Orient keeper.

Hated the game, hated his interview. I thought he was a great appointment. I feel sorry for Sparks because I think he was a good choice. It is n’t working. His interview after the game was depressing.
I think it’s a terrible choice to show him the door but Sparks may have to do that. He’s got until Oldham (yes again!) to change it. The players showed in 15 minutes what they could do.

Why can’t Sparks chose the next manager? Adams was n’t a bad choice, it just has n’t worked out. He does n’t fit. It’s happened at every club. I suspect not many of us would have predicted that when he was appointed. He has to change and change quick. His interview sounded like a desperate man who knows he’s in trouble.

Has Adams admittedly culpability at any point in a post match?

I think we did the transfer windows cheaply so we can afford to sack Derek. Or at least I hope

Another crappy draw at Bradford City.

    13 draws now.

We have the most draws in the league.

Surely the Board have to be asking serious questions about the direction the club is heading and more alarmingly the overall disenchantment from the life blood of it...the supporters. This is fast becoming a threat to the business and corrective action needs to be taken now.

Will be interesting to see next season's ticket uptake iff this is allowed to continue.

    What board?

The club is basically a guy in Germany and Ryan Sparks.

That's the big danger to the club. A big drop in sales will mean less money for players, a weaker team and a downward spiral. And after a rise in prices and all the guff from Sparks last summer no one will believe a word of whatever he comes up with to sell next season. We really could do with a takeover.

Im not going that far tbh. The season is written off already and I want a huge, total player clear out. It’s as simple as that.
