He stutters and tip toes around everything. He should be telling Adams that only 5,000 are turning up compared to 20,000 at the start of the season. He should be grilling him on the fact that the fans are utterly sick to death of his football and what he's gonna do about it to change it. Come on, if you think that's a good interview you're deluded.

 

Think about the team we played and how devoid of confidence and how poor they looked. We were worst and at home. Very bad. Last of my tenners it’s too depressing.

 

Adams didn't throw caution to the wind until we went a goal down (after a few reminders from the crowd), two poor sides as Jonesy says they came with a shocking record we should have been straight at them but we sit back and tried to hit them on the counter with the pacey Cook as the lone striker.
Adams commenting on the game sorry Derek your comments have no relevance to the game I watched, only thing they got right was MOTM giving it to Foulds every ball that came to him he tried to bring it down and play the ball rather than just head it away or hoof it down the pitch, some were commenting on letting our Captain and central defender leave and asked if anything happened to Paudie or Songo we'd struggle I believe Matty Foulds could play that position no problem, to his credit Threlkeld had one of his better games tonight.

 

I am so sick of these interviews by DA! Is he serious!? The better team? It was a dreadful football match and we didn’t ever look like winning it. He surely can’t believe the shit he’s coming out with.

I was keen to support Adams for another year.

I wanted to see him build, improve, create.

But instead we see him dismantle, demoralise, demonise, and drain the fans of all good will.

We aren't building anything giving away our captain; loaning a bunch of mercs; employing injury prone journeymen; we haven't offered our better players longer deals.

What are we creating here? Just another midsummer clear out, exactly the same way as if we just appointed someone new.

I want there to be a reason to support Adams, but I don't see it.

 

So is Derek delusional or a liar? It seems these are the only options.

feck right off. 1 shot on target all game at home to a team devoid of goals and wins since early December. We sat back and let them dictate much of the game. Won very few headers right across the park.

Songo'o was tripe at CH-looked panicky and rushed all game. Can't use his left foot to kick a ball so it went anywhere tonight.

Almost sad that Watt scored as the atmosphere in the ground was really toxic after they scored. DA is not the man to lead us out of this division. He is a soulless man, devoid of passion and clearly doesn't give a feck about the fans.

 

Another city game where I’ve closed the commentary after we’ve conceded, surprised we even scored an equaliser to be honest.

He's very clever to stick to the facts.

Basically, what he's saying is - we had 12 shots = we had more chances = we had the better opportunities to win the game = 12 shots means we were more threatening = we were on the front foot etc etc etc etc

Then because he repeats himself and sticks to the fact we had 12 shots he is hard to argue with despite the quality of those shots being so poor

I was very anti change of manager but after watching tonight's ineptitude, then Adams acid trip of a post match interview has lost him my support completely. Best part of the night was Foulds accidentally saying feck in his interview.
