We are a team with 12 draws - that statistic is more than any other club, including league two, league one and the championship! Don’t forget this is a promotion season, not a survival season. There are also five other teams in league 2 with 2 games in hand on us. We also sit one place above mid table. I think we’ll put the promotion season on hold until next year Sparks!

 

Two Sunday league clubs slogging it out. Not sure we know how to hold the ball and put a few passes together. Unless Walker has run out of steam we have managed to bring him down to our level.

Well we didn't deserve that but hopefully we can build on it. I'm a bit alarmed at our inability to do the basics of controlling the ball and completing short simple passes - we look at sixes and sevens like the players aren't quite sure what they are supposed to be doing.

 

I used to like the Bass down in the Dolly.

 

If looked after, it's a cracking pint. I lived in Burton for a bit, and the stuff they serve there is top draw. Shame the beer has been dragged from pillar to post due to brewery takeovers. Still pretty trendy in New York for some reason!

Anyway! Was a great save. He and Miller saved our bacon today. Both deserve a pint.

 

Think next 4 games are massive as to whether play offs are possible. All winnable but 10 points wud be a good return and get us in the mix.

 

Ask Newport who allegedly played Morecambe of the park at Wembley which one is in division one

 

I know teams ahead of us have games in hand but Newport are only 8 points ahead of us and we have a game in hand, god this league is appalling.

 

If you think this lot are getting promoted after watching that you are utterly deluded. 3 wins in the last 5 and we haven't been the better side in any of those games. Even Bowyer didn't have this much luck.

 

We won the matches and with a bit of luck we would have beaten Sutton with 10 men we played them off the park second half

 

That's the worry isn't it, that when we do win, we struggle to do it convincingly. Swindon away in October the last time I remember us doing it. Honestly can't remember when it was before that.

 

In a minority of matches that's perfectly possible. Over the course of a series of absolutely appalling performances should they continue then it's an irrelevant exception.

 

In these recent matches it’s sound defending which has won the points. But earlier in the season how many more points should we have won a lot
