    Is having a winger in the City side that gets you on the edge of your seat whenever they get the ball.

    A Kyel Reid. A Mark Marshall. A Peter Beagrie. A Jamie Lawrence.

    Players that always gave you hope and excitement when they got on the ball.

    What do you miss most in this current side?

    The two main things our teams have lacked in recent years are a bit of quality (you don’t need a team full in the lower leagues just enough) and aggression. We actually lost our aggression imo when McCall came back after Parky left, but due to a good quality team who had a large majority of the ball it didn’t show. However as soon as the better players started to leave it really showed, yesterday was a prime example when the Rochdale sub came on who had a bird shit hair cut and we have him so much space. The lads on the bench of a bottom half league 2 club, it’s unlikely he’s any good yet we gave him so much space he looked like KDB. Without that aggression it makes it look like the players don’t care and don’t have good fitness.

    Peter Beagrie. Worth paying the admission alone.

    Throughout a lifetime of watching City, I've generally had a "favourite" player in the side - one who you'd jump to his defence, even on an "off" day and be sick as a parrot when they left the club. The first one I idolised as a child was John McCole. In these last few years I can't name one player who'd fall in that category. No characters, no entertainers.

    Looking forward to games. Doing everything in my power to get to every home match at least. Sorry to say, nowadays I often think should I go? Like everyone on here, I can only ever support City. I just find it sad that my enthusiasm has waned.
