Midtable is realistic. We're just not as big as the likes of Bolton, Plymouth, Tranmere etc. We can't just expect promotion.

You're right.

ROD was relegated with Northampton Town after being brought in in January.

You'd be hard pressed to blame him for that, but actually, it fits the narrative for quite a few people so it will no doubt be enough to 'prove' he's terrible.

Is it a losing culture though that people become accustomed to. Whether he played a full season or not he was part of a relegated side in consecutive seasons before us joining us. As was Hope Akpan, Wigan and Burton I believe, and I think another player who joined at the same time had the same.

Obviously, they then subsequently got relegated with us. Obviously we are now scraping the barrell of the football league, so it's difficult to sign players full of confidence or on the up but players dropping down the league's are doing so for a reason

 

I agree that we don't want to be signing losers, and Hope Akpan has been a career loser. Relegated with Reading, Blackburn, Burton and Bradford, and sure, you can say Reading wasn't his fault (never good enough for the PL, only played a handful of times), but with Blackburn, Burton and us he was a key player.

I do see the point, but Jamie Walker's been relegated twice in his first team career and people think he's the real deal.

Yes, we want players that get promoted, we want a manager that gets promoted (which we've got), and we want Bradford City to get promoted. All I'm saying is ROD gets some right rubbish thrown at him. I can't wait until he goes so people can change the bleeding record.

Obviously the next goalkeeper will be way better, just like Rouven and Hornby have proven themselves
