You could have made time to attend and ask the questions that would have made it uncomfortable for Adams and Sparks but you didnt, you would rather sit back and put down supporters who bothered to go and say how they didn't ask the right questions.

How many of those are full paying adults? You know full well if we charged the going rate we wouldn’t get anywhere near the figures we get at the moment.
You’re right fair weather fans do only turn up when things are good. Did you notice how many people turned up for the Colchester and Sutton games? Nowhere near the well over 10,000 tickets we’d sold.

Like when we got relegated in 2018/19 with the biggest budget in the league? Morecambe got promoted last year with the smallest.

Money helps but it isn’t the complete answer.

    And we have money.

We are in the top 5 budget in the league.

And if it was a choice between that and Bradford was the crux of the post.

Top 5 in league 2 is hardly having big money is it?

For such an apparent big club as keep banging on about we should have a top 2 budget at least.

Either way, we just lost to a team with one of the lowest budgets in the EFL.

    https://www.newsandstar.co.uk/sport/19280644.carlisle-united-budget-bottom-quarter-league-two/

You can see the impact of their budget on their goalscoring figures - they can't score for toffee - but their defence is as good as ours...

It goes without saying that the offering on the pitch brings in the fans but our ceiling is much higher than every other club in league2. Look at FGR running away with the title yet can only attract 2-3000 attendances.
Large attendances obviously don’t win you promotion but it should open up access to more resources such like advertising and sponsorship which then in turn should give us a more competitive playing budget than all the rest……..but wait, then we have to spend it on rent.

I don't think the gap between the budgets has as much impact in league 2 as it does the higher up the EFL ladder you go. A gap of hundred grand or so ain't gonna make that much difference to what class of player you bring in. And for all the raving about the likes of Morecambe from some, who's top of the table now, FGR with arguably the biggest budget along with Salford.

If you want to play in the EFL and you don't own your own ground then you kinda have to rent somewhere to play. Football without a stadium does have a major problem...

how many are we taking away considering it’s so bad ............ is that also cheap ????
Didn’t we have an increase this season and folk still paid it ?????
Let’s also not forget that we have near on 20 clubs maybe even more within a 50 mile radius ......... what have Plymouth ???? Nothing at all ...........at the end of the day folk are still paying £200 knowing it’s gonna be crap surly if these where fairweather fans they wouldn’t part with that amount of money ..............if they were fairweather fans they would hope on a train to Manchester to see one of there clubs even Burnley or Huddersfield .............

This idea that we are less attractive to players than Plymouth is absolute nonsense. We are within easy commutable distance of two fantastic cities and all they have to offer in Leeds and Manchester, and are blessed with some magnificent countryside in the surroundings areas, all within easy reach. The only thing we can't compete with is the weather.

Im not here to defend him, I guess he could have said previous CEO not owners. No idea when accounts will be published, the last set were June 2021, I'm guessing June 2022.

Our attendances are false figures in comparison with the rest of the league given our crazy cheap prices. If we had a more 'average' season ticket price I'm sure our home attendance would be nearer the 7 or 8k mark as opposed to 13 or 14k.

The income our attendance generates is probably nearer that of an average 7 or 8k crowd, given the cheap prices, so our budget is probably not that much higher than the rest of the league, especially when you factor in our high rent costs and not to mention years of terrible financial management.

Seriously? Take the blinkers off for a sec and ask yourself.. Devon and top half League One football or Bradford and bottom half League Two football.
