I’m still of the mindset Morecambe got lucky.

in Adams currently I see a shite manager who is clueless.

Salford are turning into a bit of a bogey team. Yes, we've only ever played them 5 times, but the best City have done is a 1-1 draw in the first ever game. Since then they've won 4 on the bounce, I'm hoping for a reaction after last week, but I'm not overly confident.

Did he say when full accounts will be published. Previous owners left over 5 years ago

Adams has also won promotion at Plymouth and did well with Ross County.

So, for me, Morecambe’s success wasn’t luck. It can’t be after 46 games.

he got them playing for him though and maybe at a smaller club with a different mentality, little old us against the odds etc, it paid off.

Plymouth are as big as us though and he had success there.

He’s not delivered for us so far but here’s hoping 3/4 more faces are incoming.

Less expectations at Plymouth and Ross County.

Judge here not elsewhere and here he’s been shite! Would you agree?

Whilst I don't 100% disagree with you, I partially agree with @Fordy117@Fordy117 that in a normal season morecambe would not have been anywhere near promotion.

I don’t get fans’ obsession with wanting to see full accounts.

if you go to the cinema every weekend to watch a film you don’t insist on seeing their finances before you buy another ticket for the next film.

I wouldn’t publish any more than the legal minimum if I was an owner - benefit of being the owner

Plymouth are just as big as us.

but yes, he needs to do better than what he’s doing (or not doing) here

Not at Plymouth. Their expectations are every bit as huge as ours
Me neither. I take the view its got nothing to do with me, as a paying customer. What's the difference between wanting to see our accounts and wanting to see the accounts of The Lord Clyde, and I spend more in there than I could possibly spend on Bradford City.

Any different to Cambridge? Or Accrington before them?

It all comes down to organisation, having a plan, and players buying into it. The spread of quality from top to bottom in L2 is narrow, hence why ex-Conference teams regularly do well. Sutton your latest example.

Some fans pay their £299 or whatever and think they deserve to know everything. As fans I believe our job is to turn up and cheer, leaving finances for the club to worry about.

GR was a rogue, so some don't want us to ever go back there, but publishing abbreviated accounts is standard practice for limited companies in general

We don’t have that at boardroom level.

No, but I believe the lack of crowds and lack of spend by the usual suspects last season allowed morecambe to do better than expected. Potentially Cambridge as well.

You know little about football if you think Plymouth are either smaller than us or their fans have smaller expectations, you even say yourself about how meek our fan base is. When Plymouth were in league 2 the demanded success and took huge away followings everywhere unlike us who rarely travel over 50 miles but that’s another debate. It’s fair to say Adams is doing shite here, but as with other managers like Bowyer and Grayson before just because they did shit here doesn’t effect their achievements in the game. Same with Howe at Newcastle atm, he’s doing terrible but did an amazing job at Bournemouth, them successes them managers had weren’t down to luck but hard work. Unfortunately in football every club and season are different, and the 3 managers I’ve named who’ve worked here and had success elsewhere all had one thing in common, they worked under our current owner.

I want to expand on this point a little.

I was watching a programme with Garry Neville interviewing Steve Gerrard about 5 years ago looking back at his career and Neville made an interesting point. He said that Utd basically won then PL from 95 onwards because they were the team/squad that stopped the drinking culture first. He felt Arsenal, Liverpool had better squads but they made the changes first and that gave them edge massively. @SimonW@SimonW might agree.

I make this point because we all know how useless Edin was and a disgrace Rupp is but you are right football now comes down to organisation which Bradford City lack. If anyone thinks Sparks is the man to lead this club then you need to wake up. Communally and Soundbites fine but it took Adams to point out the obvious to him. He’s a school boy learning on a job and it’s not what this club needs with an owner that doesn’t give a damn.

Man Utd are miles behind Man City and Liverpool because they lack organisation also.

Until this club becomes organised and get key experienced people in key positions it stands no chance! NONE!!

Enjoy the likes of Halifax over taking us soon.

in what way are Plymouth just as big as us ????
Oh they can rely on thousands of glory hunters to come out of the woodwork when things are going well ........ apart from that then I fathom to think why they are just as big as us

Wow.... Just imagine if you had the chance to make this point directly to the face of the CEO...

Oh, you did, and you didn't bother.

    How?

The got promoted in 2016 with an average crowd of 9k. Before that they were div 2 and below I believe.

Adams hasn’t worked for a club with expectations like here and is failing is he not?
