Imo I don’t believe the players are playing for the manager.

I agree that they shaded a very tight play off final. But finishing the season 4th, 4 points off the top and beating Tranmere in the semi final can't have all been down to luck. They did incredibly well and against the odds, but Morecambe's squad from last season is probably stronger than City's this season in crucial areas (goals, pace and a resolute defence) and that's where the problem lies. The players aren't good enough and don't fit in with Adams tactics. I couldn't accurately apportion blame as to why that is, has Adams recruited poorly or are the majority of the players not his signings and he's been expected to create a proverbial silk purse out of a sow's ear? It's a dire experience watching the present team, but we all know that's because they're performing poorly. If results were propelling the club towards promotion, nobody would be complaining about the style of football. If City were romping the league, plenty of people would be hailing Adams as a football genius. I suppose the big question is; do those that run the club see him building something in the medium to long term, because this season is rapidly approaching what's looking like another mid table finish.

If he continues down the road we’re on his investment won’t be worth much. I think he should dip into his vast resources and pay a man like Warnock to have a look, rather than handing that money over to another manager in the hope they’ll sign the right players to get us out of this league. Fresh, experienced eyes looking at the whole set up is what we need. Whether the cost to implement the areas identified are too expensive to carry out in one go, it will at least form the basis of a 2, 3 or 5 year plan and strategy.

 

I haven't seen or heard that they will have to be preprepared question so it is down to the fans at the forum not to allow Sparks & Adams to waffle, but your correct I think it's more anger and frustration with regards what we were sold at the start of this season mainly by Ryan.
As has been said many times there are no guarentees but there can't be any doubt that this
cant be laid at the feet of fans they have more than backed the club financially with increased season ticket prices, The 2013 Suite, away priority tickets, etc and seen little in return.

Why did we employ a manager who had TWO sackings for failure in his CV? and a record of fans hating him. Even Morecambe seemed happy to see him go and you must be pretty bad at football management to be sacked by your own father, Sparks must also take the blame for hiring him without due diligence and only seeing blue skies rather than hard nosed reality

The trouble with Adams tactics is he sacrifices possession in order to leave space for midfielders and strikers to create chances. The trouble is in the past he has had players like Mendez Gomez and Carey to create. At the moment our midfield is worse than useless

 

Absolutely agree the problems are far more deep rooted than the manager no doubt whatsoever
I assume you are referring to Mr Rupp and Mr Sparks ?? The only way either are going to leave the club at the moment is if some magical mystical benefactor shakes the money tree (Wagmi ??) accepted, Mr Rupp may sell is if he gets his investment back (I know) the only way he is going to get anywhere near that back is by success on the pitch getting us back to a top end L1 club
Is Mr Adams who let's be fair never even tried a higher level with Morecambe the man to do it ??
He's not shown many signs of it maybe he thought strong investment in players was forthcoming I don't know
Its a vicious circle we are in the fans will back a successful club I have no doubt about it but will leave in droves if this continues
Its not my place to suggest names for a new manager that's within Mr Sparks remit it's what Mr Rupp(and ultimately the fans) pay him for
Time for a lot of soul searching to be done at our beloved club let's hope Mr Rupp doesn't scroll down to ,"RH" in his address book
