It was a pivotal point at the end of the game for the players, manager and the upper echolons of this club.


The response at the end of the game by fans, with your not fit to wear the shirt, aggressive profanities and posturing cannot be lost on anyone at this club. It wasn't a few, as you'll know, making the noises but a substantial, loud amount of that away end.

Adams may have lost the players as you state but those players lost SOME of the fans yesterday.

 

I don’t care about the window. I care about results.

We won’t go down and I believe our season is over under Adams because he can’t produce results.

So let’s get rid! Move on!

 

Me personally I would let him see the season out and let’s see what the window brings ............. folk can bang on about tactics etc but if lot cannot do the basics like chasing back ...... passing a ball ........tackling ........ then tactics don’t even come into it
I mean the Gibson celebration should have had them foaming at halftime wanting them to go out and ram his taunts down his throat ........... but we got nothing no fight no desire nothing ........ maybe they have given up on Adams because he doesn’t want them here and they know but let’s not forget a few of this lot threw McCall and Trueman under the bus ............ we get someone in now they will do it again

we get rid Fordy the same convo will be had this time next season and the cycle goes on .......... Adams is an issue but getting rid of him won’t sort this club out it’s been a mess for near on 5 years now ........... it badly needs a football man on board with connections to the club and who can engage with the fans ......... maybe a Hendrie or a Jackson rather than someone who just seems to put his foot in it every time he speaks

We still have 4 months of the season to go
I accept that it would prove costly to get rid but Mr Rupp needs to weigh that up against how much his "investment" is losing and will lose before the season ends not to mention next seasons season tickets its a no brainer
Its obvious by the players performance he has lost the dressing room and a few want out How long before any new signings feel the same way ?? His stubborn non magnetic personality is costing us dearly
Reputation counts for nothing in football, managers are judged by the last few results and performances I couldn't care less if he got Ross County promoted or Morecambe it's the here and now that counts he is failing badly
How much managerial experience did Paul Jewell Chris Kamara Roy McFarland have before they took the job no promotions on their CVS !!!!!
I here all this nonsense about give him time and we need stability we have stability mid to bottom of L2 if fans and the club are happy with that then so be it I am not
We have 3 of the worst leaders at the club I have seen in over 50 years and absolutely no way out !!!

These same players have been shafting managers for the last 2 seasons what makes you think there attitude will change ???
That goal by Gibson should have had them foaming at the mouth but what did we get absolute nothing ................ they simply don’t care about the club and bring another man in will probably see an upturn for a month before they resort back to there cowardly ways ........... they ain’t up for a fight and the last season and half have shown that ........... all nice when we are winning but up against it in games they go missing

 

I repeat a football manager is judged on results.

I agree we need to change things up in the boardroom but Rupp doesn’t care so he won’t.

Sparks thinks about Sparks so he won’t resign until it suits him.

Adams wasn’t brought in to have us bottom half/midtable mate. He was brought in to take us up and is failing badly!

 

We have the players good enough to keep us up we need a manager to coach them to better things as a stop gap
Stop him wasting any money that may be available and start the war chest for the new man
You don't stick with something that's failing for the sake of stability !!!!
The silence was deafening from the Morecambe fans when he left them after getting promotion thats a good indicator what they thought of him

 

I don't think their attitude would change a "warm" manager may help tho
They are good enough to keep us up this season (August proved that)

You're my hero @Loyalbantam As you have so much to say on here I expect you to be the first fan to question our CEO and manager, it should be interesting.

 

I tell you how bad it is. I don’t even know who our captain is. Paudie maybe? Sums up everything that is wrong on the field. What exactly do they do at half time?

 

Picking up on @Rocket 's point on the fans/mugs having to pay the rent for VP out of our budget,

Who is paying the rent for the training facilities/canteen at the private school,
Who picks up the tab for the VAT from our season tickets,
Who picks up the tab for sparks' vanity projects

But allegedly City have one of the top L2 playing budgets,
This allows to buy poundland players like lavery/robinson/kelleher and leave us with just Cook as a lone target man.
rupp and sparks are mugging us off but is great for them to take money out of the club rather than put it in.

Dont think our squad of players can compete with promotion/playoff chasing teams,
Not until our financial situation changes,
Former non-league clubs with less than 5,000 fans can match City no problem.

Thank goodness we didn't play 'arrogut town on boxing day, would have been a PR disaster.

 

A very similar display at Tranmere although we were a goal up we fell apart when we came under pressure.

 

Have been going to away games for many years and have never seen our supporters so angry and vitriolic after a game,
