He came across too defensively though - bordering on arrogant, what he said “I know everything” and suggested we are on a good run.

My view is neither of them are good enough to be a number 1. Well maybe they're OK in league 2 but neither look good enough to be a number 1 in league 1. Or maybe it's the leaky defence that makes them look bad?? Something is not working back there.

 

He didn't say anything bad about Vernam it was a comment about his fitness that he was sketchy on. He was basically inferring he won't be fit before the end of the year.

Its not an elephant for me. Our keepers are shit. Our Right back is shit. Our strikers are shit.

Its not rocket science that individual crapness at either end of the pitch continually sees us failing to win games that we're 'the better team' in

 

Are our strikers missing really clear cut chances though?

We don't seem to have created many really clear chances in the last 5/6 games.

 

Ps interesting comment scout made was feeling is Watt has not had a particularly good season but he tries things which always appeals - even if a lot of it has not come off this season

But honestly, such as today, did Angol and Robinson miss 2/3 chances? The best missed chance was their lad who got through into the box and shanked it wide.

I don't remember either missing more than one very good chance against Colchester.
