A very interesting second half, the 10 men (well thats including Threlkeld who was piss poor) couldnt have done more, our Captain let us down, why did he bring the lad down, Hornby was coming out to close the space down if he'd scored we'd still have had 11 men but once hs committed the foul he left the referee no option but to send him off.

Embarrassing, from the first minute when we set up with a back 5 against Sutton at home, to the last minute when the players were applauded off after another turgid performance.

Long while ago

 

Well, we played better with 10 men after Adams tactics till the sending off cost us any chance of a victory. No one had a clue who was supposed to be doing what. But let's not get carried away. The facts are there are only 4 sides in the division with less wins than us. And that Sutton side today was a patchwork quilt of whoever was fit gets a game. I haven't heard his post match interview but if he comes out with shite like we were the better side then he can do one for me.

 

I can't knock the effort that the 10 men put in after Canavan walked equalising twice and making a couple of excellent chances on the break.

Just shows how bad this league really is if Sutton are sat in a playoff spot .............. cannot fault the effort after going down to 10 men but how come it took that to happen for us to liven up ??????
Think that’s the big frustration about this league we can see how poor and weak it is but we ain’t good enough to do anything about it

 

The linesman should have seen the ball was over the line. His view was clear. We certainly could see it from A block in the Midland Road. It was a long way over too.
The lino obviously has a sight problem as he managed to see the ball over the line for the corner when it wasn't - but on the other side of the goal and further away.

 

Tbh, the season isn't defined on games like today. There will always be 3 or 4 games like today in a season and getting a point isn't a bad result when being behind and going down to ten.

The problem is all the other draws of late and the lack of urgency against Forest Green and the like. We've given up in a lot of games instead of trying to push for a winner. I bet we've hardly scored from the 75th minute onwards this season.

We've been average since the Stevenage game. Its not today's game that's a problem, we actually did OK today, its the last 10 games or whatever that have defined our season.

 

Couldn't believe my eyes when Songo'o lined up at centre half and unsurprisingly we were absolutely dreadful until the sending off.

Completed fairly well after and had a bit of energy about us but still nowhere near good enough.

 

Probably not. We improved after Canavan went off.

 

#ADAMSOUT!!!! That was the most embarrassing interview I have ever heard after a game. Adam’s blowing smoke up his own rear end for a draw at home to an awful Sutton team. The fact that the guy thinks he knows everything is concerning he sets his teams up to have no attacking intent whatsoever and the crowd are now reacting to that I can’t remember less of an atmosphere at valley parade and it’s down to Adams. We only attempt to attack when we are behind in games the rest of the time he is happy for us to sit back and do nothing. If you took Sutton out of our team the lack of effort we would look like an over 70’s walking football team. Dire, dull and turgid are the words to describe Adams and his team!!!!!
