    I'm a big fan of Shay and want to see him play a big part in the upcoming season as think he was underused last year.

    However, he was the only player to miss the first day of pre-season (with tonsilitis apparently) and has changed his Twitter bio from his location being Newry/Saltaire to Newry/Liverpool...two signs that he may not be coming back or putting 2 and 2 together and making 5?

    Was better in the last few home games that I saw which is more than can be said for a lot of the others. Whether that'd be enough for Edin to want to keep him who knows. Maybe not if he has moved away.

    He strikes me as the type that wouldn’t think twice about blobbing from training if he couldn’t be arsed. Seen nothing in the lad at all to suggest he’s even a conference player

    If it's so, so, so vital that we get our money back for Wyke, surely we need to make up some of the huge waste of a fee on Shay?

    If they with two upfront I would us him as second striker or on the right in a three. I also thought he did well in the last match playing on the right wing

    The only role is see for him is either a strike partner in a front two or just behind a lone striker. Doesn't have the vision for a Billy Clarke type role but looks more comfortable running with the ball.

    Along with Poleon, would be looking to offload McCartan personally. Would have to take a hit on the transfer fee, but so be it. I'm afraid the lad looks out of his depth at this club and level
