Why do we need a head coach? Its not common for teams in League Two, for all it works in Europe at the top.

we make a hash of it every year but success in league two is actually very simple. Make your players fitter than anyone else. Make them want it more than anyone else (toughest part). Organise them better than anyone else.

there isnt a huge spread of individual ability in league two players. They’re all shite.

that’s why teams on small budgets can and do do well. Cambridge and Morecambe last year the latest examples.

adams will get there eventually if given time but its so annoying riding out this initial period and waiting for transfer windows to open to give us hope.

To be given time you have to deserve time and right now based on results Adams shouldn’t be given time.

If you think 2 wins is acceptable then you need to wake up.

Also listen to Billy Clarke. All this waiting for the transfer window is BS. As a club we are going about things the wrong way and that’s because we doing have the right people at the top.

Morecambe and Cambridge had players that had been at the club for years and a style that’s been the same for years and years with lower expectations.

Adams results and style isn’t suiting this club one bit.

.......on a lighter note went for Breafast with my better at a resturant whilst staying for the weekend in Willamstown near Melbourne only to be seated next to a guy with his young family wearing a Leeds home shirt!

Adams was right about needing winners. Songo’O typified everything we need in a team to get promoted. Busting a gut to win the ball, chase down, get his head on the ball to score the equaliser. Contrast that to Robinson and Angol upfront and you can see why we didn’t win. Canavan or Paudie not looking like scoring from set pieces. Look at Clarke for Tranmere on Tuesday, won everything for them. Not blessed with skill but had plenty of determination. Sutton for me had one of his least effective games, maybe trying too hard against his former club. Adams is no fool and if he can get another 3 players with the determination of Songo’O we’ve half a chance.

I can see why Adams gets the reputation of getting the best out of average players, but only if they want it enough. Looking at our squad, how many look like they have that winning mentality?

Yep, the guy laughing at a leeds fan, who then gets pointed out that his team has 2 wins in 20 and have just scraped a draw with Scunthorpe. Double egg on his face methinks.

It’s a bit chicken and egg this winning mentality rubbish we’ve now got in the press from Adams. It’s his job to motivate them to act like Songoo and ensure all players are dying for those 3 points and that shirt.
When do we start to say the manager isn’t motivating the collective squad because he’s either slagged the ones off he doesn’t like or just simply never picks them? Or is it the players have no motivation because they know deep down they are not good enough.

in the end yesterday I felt it was a team trying to get 3 points but our first half performance was abysmal. That’s on the manager in my book. Not on the players. He has to start with the right intent for 90 minutes and I believe this side is capable of stringing some wins together.

For me 75\25 at minute in favour of adams needing to do more with what he has.
Adams tactics, flogging the squad to death, poorly motivating them in the press and selling players out of the window when we have a threadbare squad as it is. That’s all on adams. Whether some like to admit it or not.

This run of fixtures was favourable since Tranmere and so far we haven’t really looked like winning either game. Now no one can tell me we don’t have a better squad than Tranmere or Scunthorpe?

I think the conditions cant have helped yesterday. We saw in the second half how difficult it was for them to keep us at bay and on balance we threatened them more than they threatened us kicking to that end.

if Gillead’s shot had gone in off the post we’d be saying job done but, as it stands, its a poor point.

that was just one game though. Tranmere was the big wake up call. We cannot see a performance that bad again this season.

Scunthorpe bossed the game first half as we did second half both with the wind/gale in their favour, it was never going to be pretty to watch, what I found annoying was the lack of shots from outside the box anything on target would have been a problem for either keeper.

You saw it with Cooke’s free kick late on when the wind got behind it. That would have ripped a hole in the net if on target
