Last 5 games and Scunthorpe are in better form than Tranmere. And that’s despite Tranmere beating us tonight. It won’t be the easy win we are expecting I don’t think

I'd be happy with a one goal defeat, as long as the xG is good it will show that we can hang with teams on a good run and that we are not far off.

 

If anyone is gonna give Scunthorpe a fighting chance to avoid the drop, it'll be us.

 

I'd be happy to finish top of the xG table. More kudos to the squad than getting into the playoffs.

If turnbull had been here still this game would serve as a scouting exercise for January. Lets hope these new blokes deliver better and the club let them deliver something.

 

Is it confirmed anywhere that Adams could only choose from Turnbull's list, or could he maybe fall back on his own knowledge and contacts in the game?

I find it hard to believe a character like Adams would accept working under the former, people need to stop giving him a pass for the dismal squad he has constructed.
