Remember Alex Jones who we took from Port Vale scoring the late winner against them in 2017 I believe.
There should only be one thing on his mind and that is to score or assist with the winner then he can celebrate as Cook did at Mansfield with his late winner in front of the Vale fans.

    I know @Rogered Tart@Rogered Tart remembers it vividly ;).

All fair comment Alan Partridge, we've been going through a similar goal draught this season unfortunatly not down to the one player, but were still creating so as long as you are making chances you're in with a chance.
Never an easy game at your place and tomorrow won't be any different, let's hope Robinson does as the last lad (I believe he was on lone) we took from you did, Alex Jones scored the late late winner.

The last time someone tried that at Vale Park it didn't end well for them ;)

(Lawrence Vigoroux also weirdly goading one of the home ends after their goal not pictured)

Jones was well liked here so why he celebrated like he did was beyond us, probably just youthful naivety. I think he plays at step 6 or 7 now so a bit of a waste.

Have we had a league game on Sky since the Harrogate debacle? We embarrassed ourselves then.

sounds like Lavery and Ridehalgh could be back so looking forward to this one though.

looks like Port Vale are one of the top three on merit and their underlying numbers are very good. One of the tightest defences in division in terms of the chances they allow the opposition.

still, our numbers are excellent and there’s a good argument to think of all the sides in the division, we are in the falsest position of all.

if we can win at Swindon, sock it to Vale too.

Be very happy with point tomorrow. I think Port Vale are the best team in the league and can see them going up as Champions.

I believe, like ourselves, that they are missing their top scorer through injury, ex Bantam Procter

We should be going to this game with 3 points on mind.

Losing or drawing would be shocking and you would have to question if Adams can put winning runs together that it will need to get us out of the mid table position we currently find ourselves in.

JP has done really well for us, his technical game is well above L2. The injury is just a little muscular niggle. Saying that, Clarke keeps his cards close to his chest and despite him saying recently that Proctor needs another two weeks out it wouldn't surprise me if he's in the squad tomorrow.

If you give it you should be able to take it, as with all clubs there are fans who enjoy a pop at certain players but get upset when said player responds, especially when they score at the Kop end.
Billy Whitehurst, Lee Gregory, Billy Sharpe, Keith Edwards, the list is endless.

Smith was the whopper goading us lot earlier this season at Leyton Orient. Not the brightest spark.

Prior to kick-off in tomorrow’s televised Sky Bet League Two game against Bradford City a short Remembrance service will take place ahead of Remembrance Sunday (Nov 14).

We invite all supporters to take part in the service and ask that they be at their seats no later than 11.50am.

Timings for our Remembrance service are as follows:

11.52pm – Officials, players and our remembrance party assemble at the head of the tunnel

11.53pm – Referee leads players on to the field. Players will do their normal ‘pass-by’ of each other and then proceed to the centre circle and form up. At this point the Remembrance party will take to the field carrying wreaths and head to the far side of the centre circle, facing the Lorne Street stand. The two captains will lay wreaths either side of the centre spot followed by the Port Vale Chair and Bradford CEO Ryan Sparks laying their wreaths similarly around the centre spot. The Remembrance party will then return to join the officials.

11.55pm – Referee blows whistle and Last Post is sounded.

11.56pm – Port Vale Chaplain Reverend Ashley Cooper reads the Words of Remembrance and prompts the minute’s silence.

    11.57pm – One minute’s silence.

11.58pm – Referee blows whistle to end ceremony and signal a round of applause from crowd. Remembrance party leaves the pitch.

How can a draw away against the form team in the division be 'shocking'?
    You're mugging yourself off.

Totally agree. A draw would be a good result, a Win excellent, but for all the stuff l posted before, it would fly in the face of the form of both teams. A defeat, sadly perhaps probable, but it will be how the team responds when we have home game.

Robinson didn't get much of a look in when he first arrived at City. The initial conclusion by many was that it was a desperate signing that Adams wasn't particularly keen on. My own view is that he probably lacked match fitness.
When he has played for us I have seen no sign of laziness at all and in his last few games has demonstrated a good eye for a goal. I hope this continues on Saturday.

Agree here. Similarly, Adams said in the summer that he likes a player with something to prove. Even though the situation at Vale was seemingly quite amicable as @Alan Partridge@Alan Partridge set out, Robinson just appears to be enjoying his football. And in addition to that, the goal at Swindon seems to have built some belief that he get contribute with regular goals as well.

Hopefully that continues because it was only a few weeks ago that we were terrified of losing Andy Cook to an injury, but we have a some reliable options now that he has. Would be interesting to see more of Robinson & Angol together.

I have to admit I was of the opinion of it being a last ditch signing by either Adams or Turnbull, but I did say at the time I was happy that he'd reallocated up here with his family.
But he seams to be fitting in and cant knock his goal return, lets hope once all are fit Lavery, Angol, Cook and Robinson we can start hitting the net on a regular basis.

Well, if he can't get himself motivated for tomorrow he should probably give up professional football.
