I've seen enough of Dieng to know we need better, nothing ridiculous about it and I have know idea about the point you're trying to make. The new signings may turn out to be better or worse, as with every new signing, but you have to actually take risks in football not just keep a poor player because others you bring in might be worse, talk about unambitious.

I did your reply was to this from Tawheed : Hasn't quite lived up to expectations since his blinder at Guiseley.
and your reply was : Yes the messiah messed up there didn’t he? Gave him a two year contract on the back of it.

So my reply is correct your are suggesting it was Stuart who made the offer of an extension, how else could it apply.

Even Tawheed's reply of : He did, but let's not look back with hindsight. I'd have given him 3 years at the back of that performance, suggests it's Stuart you are commenting on.

Dieng was one of those player's who didnt appear often in the limelight.
Steady enough when picked but seldom set the world on fire.
Good Luck to him and his career and no disrespect but he's one of those player's I will have forgot about in twelve months time.

No one mentioned doyle.. My reasoning was perhaps Dieng was on a wage that was too high now for his role in the team and was, as such, offered lower terms now to suit this

I normally agree with you JB but 5 years ago, we signed a 35 year old mid who'd spent his life in the lower divisions, a 33 year old winger, a young winger that had been on loan at Rochdale, a mid who years earlier had been on loan with us but had lost his way, an ageing goalie, a young reserve from Reading, another from Liverpool and a centre half from Aberdeen. Think we should wait until September at least until we ask who we have signed.

Let's hope that scenario doesn't happen or we as a club have learnt nothing from season 2017/18

First of all he was definitely signed on the back of that performance. And as I am almost every other day reminded by Tawheed and others that I thought Dieng looked a good player at Guiseley a view that I stand by . It’s a relevant point that the manager thought so to

I love how you change the tone of your reply, one minute it's the "Messiah" then when questioned you call him the manager, very petty mate, but once again I'll remind you of what I said : Very selective with your memory when you want to be mate, if players come in and perform they are Edin's, Greg's and Stuart's signing, yet when the likes of Deing was given an extension he's Stuart signing.
I haven't seen anyone as yet disagree Deing was MOTM at Guiseley certainly those who attended, and I'll even agree he might have been signed on that performance but that would have been by "the committee" as they drum it into us often enough.

If this club is signing players on the back of pre season performances at Guiseley then football as we know it is truly fooked.

Agree my point was more the fact that park was implying it was Stuart and Stuart only who made the offer, which we are told is not the case, the decisions are made by Edin,Greg and at that time Stuart.

Let me rephrase one more time ever since that match I have had sarcastic comments because I thought Dieng looked good. If the messiah didnt sign him he must have recommended him and was part of the “Committee “ that did. End of story

I'm getting worried about you mate, now your quoting "If the massiah signed him" after quoting "Yes the messiah messed up there didn’t he? Gave him a two year contract on the back of it".
