    I'm glad he's gone TBH, the only issue is the obvious lack of experience in the squad just now which I'm sure will be addressed by kick off in August.

    Good luck to the lad - arrived on the back of some good reviews, just a shame we fans rarely saw the best of him.
    We move on with hopefully a better plan, delivering an improved outlook.

    Just how do you arrive at that conclusion? Could there ever in your eyes be any other reason, every decision every move the club tries you immediately jump on the peanuts/won't spend bandwagon and in all honesty you are becoming somewhat of a parody.

    We will have offered a package commiserate with where we believe he is in our structure. Based on his performances and criticality to the club for the 2018/19 season.

    This may indeed have been peanuts if that is the view of the club and the 'peanuts' offer may have been made from a stand point that if he accepts then we can work with it but if he doesn't then that's ok.

    We all know that in business we often make an offer for work we don't really want but if they give us the job then we can do it for that amount. The Dieng offer willbe the reverse i.e. Put the price down, but the general process is the same.

    At our level whoever the player is we don't want to get dragged into over paying.

    How do you know if the club even wanted him? Maybe, just maybe, he did not fit in with the new HC's ideas.
