So poor second half. Showed nothing and escaped with a point. Stepping off, set pieces floated time and time again. Lost the centre.

I accept the ultimate goal but I've now to endure a 5 hour drive north and that was poor to watch.

Football wise. So poor.

Watt was poor again and could lose his spot now. Sutton has to start for those runs he offers.

 

Songo was motm, with the only other noticeable candidates being paudie an sutton. The rest more or less did the same thing, i.e. hoofing the ball up front or endlessly losing it

 

The result says we did match Newport though.

How the hell did their player miss the one where he hit the bar? Overall I thought they were slightly better but that's not saying much in what was a turgid game of football.

 

I agree I think Watt needs a rest but it will be easier with Canavan back so Yann can play in centre midfield with Sutton

Unfortunately there's not much we can do about Gilliead I think he is bound to start

 

unless adams intends to play vernham an eisa on either side of cook. But the only way that works is if we play the ball on the ground an for some reason we don’t seem capable of doing that recently

 

I’m surprised by the negative comments to be honest. Before the game I think most would have looked at this as a tough game and a point isn’t bad. Yes we lost shape in the second half with the change, but we had chances in the first half. Players to come back in and hopefully the likes of Gilliead, Evans and Robinson won’t be anywhere near the starting 11.

 

The more you see of Watt the more you ask yourself what does he actually do?

 

I really hope Eisa has a better end product than Vernam, Crankshaw and Gillead have had this year
