Newport have been good. Started slowly but gained a foothold in the first half and should have been ahead.

Second half they've turned it on and have had a shot cleared off the line and hit the crossbar.

City have shown nothing second half. It's going to be a long old season.

Was just a passing comment as it popped up, whilst we're shooting blanks and the striker we sold earlier in the year is firing a team to the top of the league.

 

Not sure Vernam was our best player, but we were losing too much ball in midfield so he's brought an old head on to keep the ball.

 

Always giving lazy free kicks away if he's not giving the ball away. We need strength in that midfield because we're being out muscled.

can see adams getting sent off here, his heads gone. midfield are shite, robinson busting a gut but is hampered by being shit at football.

 

At the moment he’s our only effective outlet going forward given Cooke’s form. Not sure we have the luxury to sub him until we have a suitable replacement.

Really poor. I understand the manager has to make do with what he’s got, but his tactics are becoming questionable. In the first half, we looked more in control. Second half we’ve looked clueless.
