A shot hole, always was , always will be. It’s about time it repaid all that money the Bradford Tax payers have chucked at it since I was a kid. It will make £m’s for our City if it was used for landfill.

Thats the money side of things of course. Practicality, Gibb has us by the short and curlies , no matter what land values are. Benefactor or Valley Parade. That’s the choice!

 

We have seven years left on the lease at just under half a million pounds a year (£480k), The only alternative is to move in and play at Huddersfield which we have done before or one of the rugby grounds like Headingley, In reality we will renew the lease or Rupp will buy the lease and own the ground pocketing even more profit, Either way Gibb or Rupp will get the money and the club will pay

 

Huddersfield already have football and Rugby played there no chance of them allowing us to play there as well.
Some of our fans should get their heads out of their arses we will continue to pay rent for the next few years till the end of our present agreement and have little option but to renegotiate once this contract is up.

 

Rupp can get one of his pension funds to buy the lease in seven years, then we can pay half a million a year into that ad infinitum... That's his investment more than repaid.

We kept are football club alive what's the difference between those 3 rescue act and Now nothing we are still in the bottom division of the football league & and the owners will walk away a lot richer

Yes I will still buy my season ticket and attend games untill I am too old to get there but that is all I will pay into this club

 

That's if Gibb/Pension fund would sell, I can't see an end to the situation if I'm honest even when the present agreement is up Gibb/Pension fund still hold all the Aces why would he sell with the very good financial return they're getting.

 

For me the BIG difference is in the past we weren't owned by a multimillionaire and it was a matter of find or help with the finance or potentially not have a club, the latter isn't even worth thinking about.

 

Why can’t we groundshare? Surely that will be cheaper than the extortionate rent we pay

Sometimes in life you have to force peoples hand.
If Bradford City give notice to Gibb and leave Valley Parade in favour of temporary groundshare with Halifax for eg. I guarantee after just 1 season without income, the pension fund would be screaming for Gibb to take action. Then we’d have the upper hand.

who with? Huddersfield already share with rugby team. Not sure if Halifax do? So then we have Leeds? Or are you suggesting Park Avenue?

 

Hope you have a better option than Halifax and losing loads of money? We’d only be able to have around 8k season tickets as the remaining would be needed for away fans, segregating and match day tickets. Plus we are currently getting around 3,000 match day tickets per home games, which over a season more than pays for our rent. So we’d lose all that income plus still have to pay some rent, talk about cutting your nose of to spite your face, it would be us going back with our tails between our legs with an idea like that.
