Its a very good thing Rochdale were so wasteful today, would like to play a team like that more often!

 

How the hell did we win that game and keep a clean sheet? But I will take that all day long.

We needed to stop the rot and thank god none of the Rochdale team had their shooting boots on cos they created more clear cut chances than we did.

Thought it was a fairly even game today. We had chances and Rochdale had chances but we did enough. Bailed out a bit by their god awful finishing.

A game where the result was more important than the performance because we needed a win to stop the rot. Sutton was very good but Paudie Motm for me, I though he was superb. Needs to keep his gob shut though, could easily have been sent off.

Agreed, today won’t be regular, we’ve got more poor games to come this season unfortunately. But I think given the time, like Parky, Adams can gut the place out of the dead wood. Unfortunately it may take time and patience, just wish we’d have hired him last December he could have taken the second half of the season to see what he needed. When did he take the Morecambe job? In a December, just stayed up then went up. Remind you of anyone…

Thought songo made several good tackles today. One of the better players on show.

 

There was a challenge in front of the dugout after his yellow where he definitely pulled out at the last minute when he realised he was on a yellow.Normally would have put ball and player in to touch.

Thought cook bullied their centre halves today. Not sure if they have injuries at the back. Their No12 had a day to forget.
