    Hopefully the ultras in the North West corner will get the Stuart chants going, although it might be down to the loyal away fans to get Sparks to do the right thing.

    Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've seen the defence double up on Cook. It's what happens when we play a lone striker who struggles against big defenders. We make it so easy for the opposition to counter our major threat in front of goal. I fail to understand why we haven't learned from previous games.

    Exactly this! Giving it to their defenders on a plate. One up front, with no real numbers running in behind from midfield, is so simple for their centre backs. They'll just sit and soak this up all day.

    What a shock 2 defenders on Cook again the whole of L2 know how to stop us scoring
    Stick someone along side him give their defence something else to think about
    The definition of insanity is doing the same thing time and again expecting it to work

    Fundamentally, Adams seems to be a risk averse manager who sets up with a solid looking formation who are defensively minded.

    He counters that by having 3 or 4 players, some with pace, who can get up the pitch quickly in the hope of creating a lot of chances.

    It appears as though teams who are similarly defensively minded and disciplined cancel out Adam's approach.

    Feels like we'll have a lot more of these kinds of games this season.
