NOT GOOD ENOUGH. We won’t get promoted playing 1 up front. No further comments needed.

He does it with every manager we have, never any blame on players or lack of investment. The fact Adams has only ever know success at this level just confirms the guys just a WUM.

You're missing the point unless your point is that Adams is stubbornly not playing players and sticking to this 4-2-3-1 system because he's back handedly saying to Sparks and Rupo that there's no point playing the others and changing the formation.

Anyway, don't want to argue with you. It was a poor performance.

Trueman and Sellars must be privately shaking their heads. Bet they could have got 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses form the first 7 games.

If Adams is all he's cracked up to be then this is a big week for him. He needs to get some tactics trained and pick a team to win the next match. Time for him to show he knows what he's doing.

Last four games. Two losses. Two draws. Can’t see us beating Barrow.

It was obvious from early in the game that Lund was their only threat from corners and free kicks. So why was Robinson marking him? Very poor game from two poor sides but we didn't deserve to lose. Having said that our lack of threat upfront is worrying, as is our current form which is going backwards. I really don't see the love-ins for Watt and Cooke. But it's very early in the season and there's a long way to go so no panic from me just yet.

We’re 7 games in and 6th T & S lost their last 7 games with a wimper. Rare I agree with @Onside87@Onside87 but they’re right this time, maybe a few need to log off for a cool down.

Some absolute dinosaurs on this board

442 is long gone, we’ve created more than enough chances to win the last 2 games playing the dreaded 4231. It’s football, it happens. Cook probably feeling more pressure now with angol injured. Cook scores next game and we go on another roll.

it’s league 2 football, we have no divine right to just win every game, strikers will miss chances at this level.

Plenty of options to mix things up. Would like crankshaw to get more game time he’s looked lively when he’s played.

I’m pretty confident we’ll be in and around the play offs in jan, hopefully angol and eisa back fit and we can push on. Can’t just expect to walk the league

This defeat was mainly self inflicted by the manager picking a poor side, He now needs to show that he knows how to change to win games if he knows, Injuries are not helping but we have enough good players to win games but not with them on the bench or left out altogether

With some on this board we’d go through 5 managers a season, here we are proven manager and all we give him as a real threat is Andy Cook who should have scored and the game would have been different. But I do worry the lack of investment is starting to tell.

Adam's and Sparks need to ask themselves how a small club like Harrogate have got a better team and manager than us.

I'm fine thanks but thank you for your concern (he was talking about Trevor though!).

There is a trend there though Wilsden. A reluctance to change the formation. A reluctance to make changes early. A reliance on one central striker. That's before we get on to your point of a poor selection of attacking players due to a lack of investment. Time will tell if he's right but at the moment scoring more than one in a match is looking like hard work.

That's the frustrating thing we now have wide to play 4 - 4 - 2 but Cook for all the chances he's missed the last few games can't do it alone, he was absolutely knackered battling away alone.

There’s missing chances and their’s missing chances. I think apart from the last header he hasn’t hit the target with the others. You don’t need to be a top striker to hit the target from 6 yards out. I completely agree about the other options because we’ve become predictable. Long punts from ROD straight through to their keeper, surely we’re better than that. Today it felt like we’d never score even if we were still out there.
