Price tag put league clubs off Tshimanga, Chesterfields third bid got accepted, it was the second bid of six figures, rumored to be 150K after a 120K bid was rejected. Last season was a big one for him and it was a hit and miss year. Took him 12 starts to get his first goal, just one goal by the January window would have put a lot of clubs off him after a great 19/20. Then scored in 5 of the last 19 games.

Far too hot and cold for 150K for a player who hasn't played at this level. Still young enough at 24 to make a jump to the league if he has a good season, but not a chance he is worth what Borehamwood wanted, for a guy who wouldn't be starting. Chesterfield are throwing money at promotion along with Stockport & Wrexham. Saw a report that there are clubs in NL with a top 10 L2 budget this season.

I'm sure he already has but as he said in his post match interview last night, he isn't going to be bringing players in for the sake of it, they have to right and have to be what we need. At the moment, the players he wants aren't available. I have a strong feeling he knows exactly who he wants but is having to play a waiting game.
