He's doing great looks like he found his form and is carrying on

 

Tshimanga didn’t get his move into the league, signed for chesterfield another 3 year deal

 

So much money in non league despite no cap any longer

 

His First against Ipswich was a beauty, ran through 3 defenders and placed in corner of goal
Got another tonight as Morecambe beat Blackburn 2-1

 

Be interesting to see how he gets on.

 

He was offered a contract wasn’t he but chose to stay at Morecambe. He’s had one good season before this, could have gone either way if he’d signed for City.
Having said that, Stockton would have probably been a better bet than Angol.

 

Stockton would have asked for a higher salary than Angol. Who'd have said he'd have joined us? He's already proving himself in the league above us, so I don't think he would have signed anyway. Angol is the level of player we can sign. And I'm knocking him - I hope he comes good! I'm just saying, that we're not in the market for signing players who are better than League Two.

Rubbish. One goal created by the worst piece of sportsmanship you could imagine would not get us promoted. Read up on it, even the Scunthorpe Chairman was disgusted and issued a public apology. If we pulled stunts like that on a regular basis we would stay in L2 or below forever because our bad rep would do the harm

 

Big wow. Lets count his goals at the end of the season not the first two matches.

 

Hasn’t an old SPL manager gone to Morecambe? He might have known AOC from his stint at Aberdeen, which may explain why he has ended up there.

 

Player looks a bit meh. Not too bothered as assuming he’d have been 3rd choice.
Still disappointed we didn’t go for Tsing mana or however his name is spelt.
We’ve lots of unusual names this season, he could have added to it

 

Truth is we don't have much more financial muscle than anyone else. I expect there are a couple of clubs in the top tier of non league that could push our budget. All being said and done we are a league 2 football club trying to be self sufficient as our owner isn't funding us past his past investment in buying us. Barrow probably could have offered a comparable wage to what we were offering depending on how our budget was tied up elsewhere.
