What I wouldn't give for a Tight 1-0 Victory

 

Overall play decent. Doesnt react well to pressure. Shit his pants on a couple of occasions and blew our chance of taking lead.

We really didn’t they had a few periods of pressure but for one sitter they created little.

That's been him all preseason. Fantastic work outside the box and then just falls apart whenever he goes inside it.

Definitely got talent but how can you teach a footballing brain and composure?

 

Thought both teams looked poor with very little quality. Guess that’s 4th division football. Should have lost with an absolute sitter missed - literally on the goal line. How did he not get something on it?

 

Thought it was a decent game lacking in quality in the final third, we lost a lot when Cooke had to go into the midfield two instead of Sutton. Songo’o will be a big help.

 

I think these states say it all pretty even game all round :

 

Match fitness I guess. Was never going to be a dominant game for either side.
My same views still stand from last season: no creativity in midfield, no off the ball runs from our forwards, and no strength in depth on the bench.
