So she is saying both the club and Parker are lying ? Both quite clear that he has been offered a deal. I'm also pretty sure part of the FA rules will be that an offer would have to be made if not being released ?

She never tweeted to say he hadn't been offered a contract when the club put out the statement saying he had.

 

Since it would seem the whole of the twatterverse is against us can anyone with the twatter make sure we see the best as I like many others simply do not venture there. Ta lol.

 

I'm not sure what's going on here to be honest, maybe a contract was agreed but the club decided not to send it, which would explain Doyle's statement that the club has decided to go a different route.
That way nobody is lying, just an assumption.

 

I don't know whats happened but i really can't imagine why she would say they haven't received a contract offer if they did and it wasn't acceptable to him.

 

Obviously none of us know exactly what went on. Personally I would have hoped we would have tried harder to keep him, but it's done now. The owners' decision will now be judged on who we sign to replace him. If a week or longer goes by without a signing it will be obvious that they didn't have anyone lined up.

 

What? Have a bet on my club to be relegated and the support them to do the opposite? Great idea. Great faith

 

I'm not sure mate. Contracts are always going to bring about a 'take one side or the other' and as much as I would have preferred him to stay we'll never know the details to be able to conclusively state who's "at fault".

He could be pissed off because he got a lower offer, we wouldn't negotiate, we didn't up our offer enough, we retracted our offer, we set too short a deadline and many others. I'd be ok with him being pissed off for some of those reasons because it is a negotiation after all.

 

That's like saying going on the recent weather we had in March, then it can only mean it will always rain

I wish people would see who we sign before "worrying"

I like Doyle and wish he'd stayed, because he had a great character - but he isn't irreplaceable

Alrigghttttt buddy calm your tits... We're lucky we actually put a shift in for the first half of the season or we'd have been relegation fodder last year. We've not exactly pushed the boat out with signings so far, and now we've got a manager with no experience, it's a potential formula for relegation, plenty of us know it, the bookies know it. But you can just go along pretending everything is rosey if you want to, that's up to you. I don't want us to be relegated obviously, but.. If I think there's a chance of us being relegated then I'm putting a few quid on it.

 

Because she just wants to put the boot in on the owners, you know how it works on here by now mate.
