As long as he stays fit he’d do well in that level as he finishes his career. imho.

 

I’d imagine one out first, Cooke, Evans, Crankshaw, Scales, Angol, Lavery, Cook, Vernam, Eisa. Nine of them all looking at spots in that front four.

Scales possibly on loan but I’d still expect one of them to go permanently as well.

If we learnt anything last season it should be to not hold any budget back for January, have the best squad possible from the start. If you need players in January either go over budget or ship players out but we can’t be taking that sort of stupid risk again. The better your squad the better chance of a cup run as well which can be used in January, another reason holding budget back is detrimental.

 

I don’t think we are but I think the reality of 1 year deals for lavery and angol is if they’re not working out or if a better option comes available in January we can make a move

 

I don't think Adams will necessarily be holding any of his budget back. If he doesn't bring anyone else in it will be because he is happy with what he has got or he doesn't feel there is anyone out there in the areas he is maybe looking at that will improve what we have got.
It was noticeable in our "meaningless" friendlies that we didn't play any trialists , instead Adams played our first team squad players to give them match practice after all the fitness work they had done. A refreshing change of approach.

 

I saw a chap, about 6ft 1, beard & glasses walking a dog in Wilsden at 7.35 am this morning (wearing a new City Shirt) was that you ?
