Explain how he has "clearly" decided that's enough, though?

There's a number 12 available, which could be any position, including goalkeeper.

    Is it that clear?

Why ? FCD did alright for his break -through season, was steady enough and is good enough as back up .
There is a pretty steady footballer in there with a bit more experience.
Dont get the negativity to are our young lads coming through the ranks.

Yes, I think a bit more experience he could be a good defender.

But I'd like to see him get that experience in a controlled manner, and not just if Threlkeld gets injured.

Like Staunton, he did fine last year, and both showed promise; but I think part of the problem we had last year was overly relying on a very young and inexperienced squad.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see FCD and Staunton in particular get some game time; Charlie Wood too, if possible - but I felt Stuart mismanaged the kids, and I wouldn't like to see that continue under Adams.

    Just my opinion.

Both Jamie Raynor and Simon Parker said that the number 10 spot was vacant no mention of 12

    Hadn't really thought of that.

Last time it was used, I think, was George Miller. Haven't used it for a couple of seasons though.

    Good spot.

I totally agree , we need to nurture these lads. They are the future and if all goes well could earn the club a pretty penny , just like Mcburnie.

    Jon, you've misread my post.

Probably because you seem to be looking for an argument rather than actually reading the post and having a discussion. You don't need to be argumentative all the time!

Jordan Stevens wore 12 last season, not that many will have noticed.

I think you meant to say early Sunday in your original post!

If Rupp truly cares he'd sign the bloke up, he's a free agent so no excuses.
