    Connor wood is a leyton orient player now.

    remember someone saying a championship club might go for him… he was never that good. Bang average in L2 and gone to a club that fits his stature.

    Yeah probably! But people were saying Championship clubs would go for him! Maybe i sounded harsh before but I believe he is a decent L2 player.

    actually as well, I wonder what his wages are like at leyton too. did he take a wage cut, I.E city wanted rid or did he want to leave.

    You should know some have selective memories they cant think beyond 12 months ago, he was a very steady performer for us in the 2019/20 season.

    That maybe true but he was pretty poor. The long aimless balls and misplaced shorter passes were embarrassing at times. Maybe he just needed a fresh start?

    Tell you what, good manager is Kenny Jackett, Omar Beckles and Darren Pratley are quality signings for this division.

    If KJ keeps signing good players, it might not be quite as big of a step backwards as it sounds...

    ah wow very interesting! I was always under the assumption he was holding out for bigger wages. but in all honesty was the right decision, we need good players not bang average players.

    Bit of a tangent but I always read about players not being happy up north/ down south.

    Always struck me as odd and a pretty lame excuse. England is small and samey in terms of life. Can understand if your family is settled somewhere, otherwise..
