No 2pm bell then ? Does anyone really know if Songo'o has signed or is all that talk just plain only smelly bullsh@t. I'm starting to think its all crap and some other random name is going to pop up.

Today would be good day to announce a new signing - no Euro matches on, no fixtures to announce, no cricket on, in fact, the perfect day to do it!

 

Going to be a bit light on numbers on monday

 

People are working, they usually announce them early morning before work or evening. I’d say between 6-7 is the most likely time for an announcement if it’s to happen today.

I do think someone will be announced either today or tomorrow, with training starting Monday they’ll likely want one or two more announced by then.

 

I wonder if we are one of the club's interested in highly rated Leeds full back Niall Huggins. Who has been told he can leave the club to the surprise of the Leeds fans who thought he was going to be breaking into the first team. Source, Peter O'Rourke.

 

Ive heard its 100%. Passed medical and was seen at VP last week. Delay down to holiday/quarantine/medical.

Dont shoot the messenger. But patience also required. If its done why the rush to announce? May announce over weekend.

 

Only 3 or so short you would think. Plenty of time and enough to work with.

 

Work is an alien concept to some...

 

If he was seen at VP last week, he must have been back from holiday and completed his period of quarantine by then , otherwise he wouldn't have been there. I think the delay is more likely to do with spreading the announcements out, and still think there could be one today or early tomorrow - ticket office is open for an extra 5 hours tomorrow, hopefully because they are expecting a busy day.

 

I know it's radical and probably a bit far fetched but perhaps the "delay" might be because he hasn't actually signed yet?

The ITKs on here haven't exactly had a great record with rumours so far.

A fair point. I have a pipeline, its hit and miss, dont claim to be the ITK but its more often right than wrong. Threlkeld, Ridehalgh and Cook given as certs about a week or so before announced - got Stockton wrong though.

Just someone I know who works with the club on a fee things.

 

Seemingly a large white car with plate AT 96 at VP today. Could we be looking at a 25 year old AT?

 

The signings so far have been a little uninspiring with most been journeyman players apart from the young winger, Hope we can get better with the next few ones we sign

 

I think Anthea Turner's older than that, no?

Think Andros Townsend is older than 25... Think Stefan would need to be digging deep to cover his wages too!

 

So far looks like a player budget reduction on last season.

 

Not surprising given the circumstances of the last 2 seasons regarding income .
