Cooke - Has a few seasons in him now

Cook - Very Experienced

We have an experienced team next year and those that arent so, are in positions where its nice to have younger, more exciting lads with pace. I.e on the wings or trying to get on the ball and make things happen. Obviously Yann Songo'o hasnt been announced yet or maybe even signed at all.

 

Need a RB. Dont we say this every season?!

 

Threlkeld will play there.

 

If Evans were on a grand a week I would keep him as cover all over the park. Sadly I expect he is on nearer £3k a week and possibly our highest earner. I think Stuart saw him as a "marquee signing". I don't think he has the fight left in him to be a DA player.

Best we get shut of him, even if we have to take a hit on wages for 12 months. What we save might buy someone with a bit of bottle.

 

I wonder if we are interested in McAleny from Oldham it’s rumoured that Tranmere and Salford are battling it out for him but didn’t we inquire in January. Perhaps Eisa has been signed for that position

I think Sellers squashed that one by messing him about in January by questioning his character.

 

Swap O’Donnell with Hornby and I like the look of that team. Keep him in and we’re back to defending from the six yard box.

The major flaw in that is that Sellars is an ex Bradford City employee, he has ceased to be.
