You've watch to many episodes of Fool & Horses my friend, lets add" well all be millionaire by this time next year" they are charlatans IMO but you believe what you believe thats what the forum is all about.

 

Who ever takes the club after these two will deserve a knighthood for sorting the mess they'll leave behind...we can only hope !

 

A lot of the problems i.e.: the pitch and no infrastructure were left behind by our previous owners. The Germans are trying to sort behind the scenes out and make us sustainable and yes the previous owners paid out higher wages but all we kept hearing about when the cup money came in and fees from the Wells sale was the word deficit. The amount of members on the city forums that moaned and slagged off Mark Lawn seems to have been forgotten , and the silent Rhodes that was criticised for not coming out and speaking to fans. Edin is far from perfect and he's now doing what he wanted from the start so if it goes tits up its his fault and money he will lose and the blames at his feet. The owners aren't perfect but neither were the last lot who botched up the pitch instead of sorting it out , the money that Lawn gained interest on would have paid for that. All our success was through Parkinson's hard work not the owners and if he hadn't have arrived they could have taken us into non league. So let's give Collins and co a break and let's see how they get on instead of sticking the boot in before a balls been kicked.

 

It’s been 2 days now since Collins and the management team were announced.

And yet seemingly little action from @Fordy117 and/or @Ricc about getting Rahic out.

They seem to love to post and moan but don’t back it up with anything, even they call for action. Full of crap.

 

Lawn wasn't one to be interfering with things, he gave Parky the job and he let him get on with things. And the fact that the man was a die hard supporter gave you a degree of reassurance that he's not just looking at this like it's a business, unlike the man at the helm now. Collins deserves a break until we've played a handful of games, rahic on the other hand does not.

But there won't be because there are too many fans who love going to Accrington and far happier in the lower reaches of the league. Although the realisation Edin is actually useless is growing it's still far less than those who choose to keep their head in the sand. It's sad really I was hoping for German efficiency when they took over and instead we're getting German totalitarianism.

And I’ve not been the ones saying “We need Rahic out of the club”, “Let’s get him out” etc etc. I’m just loling at the people who are simply full of hot air on here but won’t follow it through with any actions. “Keyboard warriors” is a very apt phrase.

 

If this season starts badly then I don't think it'll be long before something does get sorted along those lines.

 

Too right and all, 5 years of steady progression under a model that just needed a little bit more of a cash injection to get us into the championship. Instead we scrapped the model and are now trying something completely difference with no guarantee that it's going to work (I don't think it will). People are right to be pissed off, we're the ones who've been forking out for a season ticket for yonks after all.

 

Yep, I tend to agree.

But there’s some obvious posters saying we need to get them out of our club now, but they don’t seem to be coming up with any action about it. Just seems very hypercritical & attention seeking. I’ve always thought that if you’re not happy with something, do something about it.

 

Maybe, we're but plans need putting in place.

Normally, I would be quite excited if we hired a young manager/coach. But with edin there, we know who's really in charge.
