Ouch... Guessing the well lauded signings of Vernham and Crankshaw did better last season then?

 

Based on how I think RS likes to do these things, I expect there will be a pretty constant drip feed of signings and news over the next couple of weeks rather than a 'splurge' on a single day

 

I would have had Connolly back.....obviously

I get the feeling that constant drip was intended to have started already...

Everything seems to be taking a while.

 

We got Cook signing on Saturday, Sikora yesterday, Foulds today. Probably announce that Scales has signed his 1 year deal tomorrow.

 

I want to see Hornby signing a two year.?

 

It has? Cook and two new deals in 3 or so days.

 

So do I but Sparks said earlier that three out of the four had agreed terms and I suspect Hornby will be the most difficult of the four to get to sign. Hopefully it will be resolved and he signs in the next few days, as I think he’s a good young keeper.

 

If you're including Jorge Sikora and Matty Foulds re-signing then I think this debate has been done to death with regards whether or not contract extensions count as a manager's 'signings' or not.

I'll never count either as Adams' players, just like I never accepted DMH as a Stuart McCall signing.

So far we've brought in one player, a very good player, but one that doesn't improve the team from last season since he was already in it. I'm waiting for the flood of new players, but have a feeling it's some ways off. I get the feeling following Bradford City in the Sparks era is going to involve a lot of gun jumping with regards supposed signings and announcements, whether the sources (like Bradford End) are accurate or not.

 

Maybe not Adams signings, but still are technically signings either way. to have a bit of a moan though, it does wind me up that i wake up to see a new contact for an existing player then hear nothing else all day. interesting there is no grand announcement tweets about these players though. i expect newer players to have klaxons or whatnot.

 

I hope he signs too, decent keeper. However if he doesn't if wouldn't surprise me to see Adams being Letheran in from Morecambe. Interesting name popped up on twitter tonight, Torquay's Ben Whitfield 5ft5 attacking player, one of Torquay's main players over the last 2 seasons, Bingley lad and being watched by clubs at our level, wonder if we are one of them? He was in our youth team originally but didn't make it and started at Guiseley.

On the Foulds one I'd disagree with you. I actually think there would have been more probability of him leaving if Adams didn't come. It seems to me that he signed because Adams came here since Adams tried to sign him for Morecambe last season when he signed here instead.

 

Nope. Im on about the constant drip. The club have communicated every day. They said it would be a busy week.

Im not sure why folk are panicking/getting upset.

 

It will come as no surprise but Scales just been confirmed as having signed for another 2 years.
